My friend bought a bar, had to take out a huge loan to buy it, she was a first time business owner, and yet she went and hired someone to manage the bar. And what did she do? Went out every night, slept late every day, and only showed up at the bar every 3 days or so to empty the safe. She thought that being a bar owner meant automatically livin large. And less than a year into owning the bar, she defaulted on her business loan. Which might not have happened if SHE had acted as manager, like she should have been, instead of paying out a salary that she didn't need to be paying
