- I do not own any of the clips shown in this video. Credit goes to BTN The journey and David Trichel and the osu production team for the clips. I do not own any music played in this video. These are clips from numerous videos put together credit to Trevor Browning for some of the sequence and the song is by Hanz Zimmer in his Man of Steel Album. I am simply legally sharing these clips and music to create a football hype video as my right to do so. After a tough end to the 2013 season and a loss of Heisman candidate Braxton Miller to injury, Ohio state bounced back after a loss to Virginia Tech, avenged their loss to Michigan State, won the Big Ten Championship by demolishing Wisconsin 59-0 and has entered the first ever College football Playoff. These boys have gone through great adversity and champions at heart. What a heck of a season so far. Go Buckeyes! Beat Alabama!

There is a real brilliance in this video, not only because of the shot selection (which uses close-ups like never seen), the editing and the music, All standards of hype videos. The essence of this video goes much deeper. It is an extreme close-up showing the nature of OSU's hardships this season and their unique ability to overcome and triumph over adversity, In this regard it is brilliant.
I'm not sure you realize how profound your music choice was. As most know, the band has been through a brutal season as well, losing their unquestioned leader, and being drug through the mud by the University for ulterior motives.
The theme song for that leader (based on his rookie nickname of Clark Kent) and of this whole season has been the Man of Steel theme song.
And by selecting that music, you have tied the challenges that thousands of us TBDBITL alumni and current members have dealt with this year, in parallel to such an amazing football season.

amazing to see how far we've come even after all our misfortunes. through the loss of two QBs and the death of a teammate, we've made it to the playoffs. and people are still underestimating us? we deserve some major respect. I'd like to see how far bama would get with their third string QB.

Best one I've seen. Gave me chills. No matter what happens in the final four, this 2014 team will go down as one of my favorites. At 2:35 was when this season went from so-so to something special.
Sick video! I liked how you started with the B1G championship last year and ended with the championship this year. It showed how much this team has went through and yet we still came out on top 💪

Great hype video, Kevin. All the clips you included have been used in other videos, but somehow you have captured the spirit of not only the team, but Buckeye Nation as well so much better than the others have. I think it is the music that keeps me coming back to watch it over and over again. As for all the Buckeye hating drivel the other commentators (Cliff, in particular) have added here, get over yourselves. We love our team just as much as you love your team.

I feel like any rivalry our schools have is more out of mutual respect than out of mutual hatred. Not something I can say for those assholes up in Ann Arbor. Good luck in 2015-16.

Exactly, OSU is on their third string QB. Why do you seem to think that that goes into their favor?
You can't really say that about Jones, it's only been one game. You can't really judge someone on just one game. Chances are, if we judged JT Barret on his VT game, we would think he's not very good.

well I heard someone on Ohio State say that nobody was really surprised at his play because he throws the ball like that in practice all the time. Plus I saw his high school highlights and he seem to be a good passer in high school also. I believe it wasn't a fluke but just the truth about how he can play. He's more of a drop back quarterback that's why he's probably the 3rd choice because he don't fit in Urban's system as good as the other guys. The big question is can he deal with the bigger spotlight he will be in at the Sugar Bowl and will he have time to throw like he did against Wisconsin
really good point....there's isn't a team like my Buckeyes who have gone through so much fire on this treacherous road to the playoffs man. I will be honest, did I think Cordale Jones would beat Wisconsin that bad, of course around the rest of the team as well, but Cordale Jones, from Cleveland, Ohio, grew up right near me...it's close to a miracle that a 3rd string qb could do that...

I caught by accident a national TV talking head today saying the huge difference is in the Alabama offensive line versus the entire OSU defense including that brutal defensive line that is far superior to anything the Tide faced all year. I said in September the SEC is not as good as everyone says they are there are teams in other conferences who are just as good if not better then SEC teams and i was right SEC fans take a few months off of talking trash you guys lost and whats funny about SEC fans is they don't know when they have been beaten you guys have a losing record this bowl season and not only that i believe 2 or 3 of them losses was to big ten schools and 2 of the SEC schools that got beaten were once in the top 4 at some point this season but still everyone says the big ten is a weak conference #RISEOFTHEB1G Eat that crow there plenty to go around SEC fans saying Ohio state didn't have a chance that's what happens when people come into a game over confident and doesn't respect there opponent.
