7 churches was the Heaviest album I had ever heard back in the Days. Dark Angel Darkness Descends was close, but the voice and the Riffs & even the look was terrifying in a Hella good way. Never forget.

I was listening to the same bands, Celtic frost, dark angel, possessed, metal church, venom, destruction, you name it man, I was hooked on that shit..but possessed topped em all because of their appearance with the inverted crosses and the blood, pentegrams n what not.. they were definitely a shock to the ppl.. it was fuckin killer!! Lol..
Good grief, I need this in my life! Jeff's speaking voice was not even remotely what I expected, and hearing him lay out his vision for the whole thing was pretty wonderful, here. The bits I've heard of this absolutely sound like Possessed, the way it ought to, and blast beats and technicality have no place in their sound, even though their sound is not what I'd call primitive by far. Keep it up, Jeff!
The new record is an unmitigated triumph from start to finish, musically for the band and personally for Jeff. However, I do believe the next Possessed album will be their very best ever. As awesome as this album is, I think they're just getting warmed up.

I remember the 1st time I heard these guys I was probably about 12 or 13 and I was fn blown away man.. and then i seen the album covers and I was like holy fuck these dudes are evil and now they're my new favorite band.. lol.. I was a little kid wearing possessed t-shirts to school.. lmao.. the teachers, kids and the principle thought I was nuts.. lol..
