Trevor and Tom are two of the most accomplished popular music organists I've seen/heard. This concert demonstrates that in spades. I am constantly amazed at the library of music both Trevor and Tom keep in their heads. I can only dream of doing that! Here in America, our people demonstrating Lowrey organs pale in comparison. They focus on their "show" (campy, at that) and don't do the brand any favors. I love Trevor and Tom's ability to show clearly how the tech works in concert with the qualities of the instruments. It is their mastery of the Lowrey that convinced me to get over my aversion to the brand and purchase a Marquee when I found one at an outstanding price. I have to drive over two thousand miles round trip to get it, but I'm confident it's worth it. My focus has been on an Allen R or Q series theatre organ for a long time, but I think I'm going to be way happier with the Marquee.
Hi Neil, thank you for your kinds words. If you would like to see more of our work then we have many hundreds on videos on our patreon channel...www.patreon.com/thehobbyorganist we also produce a large range of software for the Marquee which you can find on our website..www.allensmusiccentre.co.uk
@@AllensMusicCentre Hello Neil, I have a Grand Marquee and know you won't be disappointed with your Marquee. I have many of the Allen Music expansion packs for the SU, A and E series Lowrey organs. These give you greater opportunities to express yourself in music using Tom, Trevor and Lucy's amazing talent for creating sounds and suggestions for playing your organ. I still use the "Classic Theater Organ" pack created for the SU series. My recommendation is to ask Trevor about a deal for all the available packs then enjoy exploring the many sounds and songs that you can create beyond what is originally provided by Lowrey. Trevor, you've outdone your self with this presentation, absolutely wonderful. Amazing what years of practice can accomplish. Thank you, you and Tom are the best
I'm constantly amazed at the brilliance and versatility of both Trevor and Tom, and here, Trevor does it again (although I must admit there's a jazzy section in the middle I didn't enjoy - apart from pedal work that's astonishing). I know nothing about the ownership of Allens Music, but if they aren't part owners, they should be, as the brilliance of their playing must play a massive part in the success of the company.
Thank you, Trevor for including two of my favorites....Perfidia and Moondance. Hello from Phoenix, Arizona across the pond. Just thought of something. You were recently wearing and talking about Black Power Ranger socks. If you have more of PR in the other colors or some other cool socks would so neat for you to wear them. Also, wearing brand new, worn only for your videos, distinctive shoe would add some panache to those videos.
Wow! My very favorite song is 'My One And Only Love' which one hardly ever hears these days but you played a nice rendition of it. Thanks so much, you are so very talented.
Love that Lowrey sound.......my Royale is almost.....as good....problem is that I am not too good on organ yet....but working on it. Cant wait to get the disk sets from you!
Thanks Trevor I really like Lowrey but I don't understand if Lowrey still exists or has been absorbed by some other brand can you give me some information thanks greetings from Italy bye
Há muitos anos haviam os gênios da música, como Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, Strauss, Mozart, etc. Hoje a maioria dos gênios são os tecladistas que utilizam diversos recursos onde a programação e memória não é pra qualquer um
Thank you very much for the quick response! I just buy the song in I tunes ( Glenn Campbell) I am really surprised as a Dutch organist that there still is so much talent and love for the organ 😍 This kind of videos makes me very happy and especially the way the players show there fun and talent to us all. I never knew Lowrey has such great sounding organs. They invites to play and never stop playing, I guess. Beautiful, thanks again from Holland.
