She is a young Russian singer, great talent and great person. This is a show (“You are Great! “ Or “You are Super!”) for disvantaged children (Diana was an orphan until 4/5 years when she was adopted by a loving family).

Hi, I am back. Nice reaction as always. I am actually Russian but live in NY so I was curious about this. Never heard of the singer but she is super. =0) I read in the comments that this is from a competition show called “You are Super!” for disadvantaged children (Diana was an orphan until 4/5 years when she was adopted by a loving family). Diana Ankudinova is a 15 yo young Russian singer. This was in Moscow. This is a cover song. She won this season of the show. =0) hugs. -baby ARMY NY USA 💜
Looks like you accidentally discovered Diana Ankudinova, one of the best young performers around with a truly unique voice. She is considered to be a contralto, which is the lowest classification of female voice. This performance was on the Russian show You Are Super, at the age of 15. She did indeed win. She won the previous year at the age of 14 and this was their "super season", with past winners brought back to compete. She is now 17 and at a school for the performing arts in Moscow, which is the equivalent of Julliard here in the US. On this show, which is for children from difficult circumstances (orphaned, etc.), the contestants needed 3 judges to pass them on to the next round. She had all 4 judges vote for her each time.
The bald gentleman who buzzed in last is Igor Krutoy, a well known Russian composer and pianist. He helped her get into the school I mentioned. Here, he was just waiting for a point where he wouldn't interrupt her performance. He actually came out of semi-retirement to start working with Dimash, after hearing him perform several years ago. If you watch more Dimash videos, you will see him there on occasion. From what I understand, he is the person (or one of the people), who created this particular show.
All of her performances on You Are Super are worth watching. The standout is Rechenka (The River), which is an old Russian ritual folk song about an orphan girl who is being forced to marry someone, she goes to the river (which is the border between life and death) to commune with the spirit of her dead mother. Also, be aware that the Russian TV network that You Are Super comes from does block quite a few videos. It is possible that will happen with others of Diana, so you may have to get creative, such as by putting some kind of filter over the video to get it to upload. I've seen a variety of things, such as making it almost transparent, having stars fall over the video image, etc. that have worked for other reactors.

her performances. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's
far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop
where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5
she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage
therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the
first to recognize something special in this little girl, and
eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because
it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without
impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in
street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a
Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the
age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV
shows, and her songs started showing up on TH-cam.
Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a
new Russian television competition with several other renowned
performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of TH-cam
'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers. Her first song at the
competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help
Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing,
transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep
voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her
trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation.
Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She
has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and
Arabic.

This “Wicked Game” live performance took place during the May 2019 season of a talent show for disadvantaged teens called “You Are Super” Diana competed in and ended up winning this competition. You and your audience may or may not know that Diana Ankudinova 2017 was only 13 years old when she first had her vocal range measured. Her vocal range at that time was measured from a low of D3 to a high of A5. In 2018 Diana was 14 and again competed in the “You Are Super” competition singing Rechenka, a Russian folk song sung in Russian. It was during this 2018 performance that Diana started to really display the beginning of her low, rich, deep, and resonant sound that would eventually show she is a true contralto voice, and again Diana Ankudinova won this competition.
She was 15 years old in 2019 when her live performance of Chris Izaak's classic "Wicked Game", really demonstrated what many vocal professionals believe, Diana Ankudinova is well on her way but not quite there yet to be called a true contralto.
Diana has said she was not happy with her lack of a higher vocal range which kept her out of the more prestigious vocal academies. It was after several rejections that she decided along with her voice teacher to really concentrate on improving her higher range which can be heard when you listen to her cover of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” the Elvis Presley classic which she recorded live 2 years after Wicked Game at age 18 during another vocal competition called, “TheShowMaskGoOn!”.
There are other performances of Diana in vocal competitions, and she also recorded some videos that were done in her home studio that are stripped down without any of the major flash or production value of competitions or concerts. The home-recorded videos of A-Ha's, “Take On Me”, and Camila Cabello's, “Havana”, are 2 examples of what Diana did during the COVID lockdowns and I’m sure you will enjoy them.
