Hell, the intro seconds are hard to pull off the way she does. She's a national treasure.
I grew up in the gold country of the Sierra Nevada foothills, and this song hits every note. The history and place names are accurate, and the musicianship is superb. Bravo Molly and band!
Placerville...gold hill..Malakoff diggins...where the real 49ers set their hands to work.. people forget that California has a history and that us cali natives actually have roots in it.

Molly, your playing & singing are just beautiful! I'm an old man these days. I grew up in the 50s, 60s & 70s. I loved all the music.
Listening to your performance made me feel 50 years younger.
To watch a band play like yall play together is just rare magic to me.
I've played in a few bands. It was the best when everybody was in the groove and feeling the energy.

Les the mandolin player and Kyle "No Relation" Tuttle are high-level enough for Molly and Bronwyn is a fine fiddle player.

This band defies all genres. It’s just.. amazing is about all I can say.
Already excellent, the group keeps getting better and better. Molly and Shelbys voices are an absolutely perfect blend with Kyle helping out. One of the top "newgrass" bands in Nashville. EVERY musician in this group ranks near the top and its also a very good looking band.
Can't wait to see Molly and the Highway at the Grass Valley Father's Day Bluegrass Festival... less than a month away !!! Grass Valley is where Molly learned her jamming chops and This will be the second time seeing her there. And all Three girls are just simply ADORABLE !!!
