I tend to only play on MTGO, so I don't have access to Magar to play it myself, but I feel like I would run 1 or 2 more discard outlets. Maybe spells like Smallpox, since it will hit every opponent. I would probably also try to run 2 or 3 more "fun" high cmc targets like Wits End, or Fury of the Horde.
Tayam is such a weird deck. It feels like the deck that relies on the rest of the pod to stop others while building up value the most out of any in the format. It seems to fall flat in pods like this
It can be parasitic deck for the first couple turns. Plus not having a good counter generation or earlier Stax piece didn't help. Hopefully get to see pontus play it more!

Mons cheated rhe archon with his fetchland should of came in tapped as a non basic. Wow arid mesa should of came into play tapped it also a fetchland and not a basic. Two cheaters at the table. Mons cheated again another non basic into play untapped very next turn (cabal pit).

Curse of the Cabal, Wit’s End, Worst Fears, Blood for the Blood God!, and Breach the Multiverse are my favorites
Yeah idk how cedh viable Magar is but he's definitely the most fun when you can put a big splashy spell into play as a creature

It's missed triggers, not cheating. Cheating implies intent, which hardly was the case.
