I didn't have friends in middle school and high school. Being on the Autism Spectrum made it especially hard for me. Having tons of friends is overrated, and not much to brag about. The quality of the friends one has is much more important to me than the quantity. That's the biggest thing I've learned while looking back at my experiences growing up!
One tip they didn’t bring up in this episode: After school clubs are a great way to make friends! Especially clubs that meet everyday. I was in robotics in high school and became very close to the other kids since we were often meeting everyday and often on the weekends too
These teachers really don't care about the students. They just ask, do you have hall passes? And they say okay, carry on. It's like they don't have a hall pass, then they care.
18:27 I recommend an episode of I Carly where the episode pretty much is about changing Carly's grade. her friend hacks into the school system. An episode I recommend you look into :) the episode is called I promise not to tell
Looking back at this episode as an adult, I'm gonna say that this one was really cleverly written🤣 And Cookie's reaction as Ned's turning away from Doris and the others was just so perfect (him quickly realizing that he could immediately join up with a new friend group just by having so much he could say about his best friend Ned😂)
1:09 I was a kid at the age of a single digit while watching this show, and even back then I knew changing the menu wouldn't change what they were going to serve! 😂
The way Ned is acting with that guy is the way my mom’s dog acts toward the cat. My mom’s dog has been with us for 4 years. We’ve had the cat for about 13 years. The dog always thinks the cat is her best friend…The cat doesn’t want anything to do with her. My mom always has to tell the dog “Leave the cat alone.” LOL
Unfortunately for the Killer B-E-E-S, they buzzed off after this episode. I don't know why that happened, but my guess is that they got E-X-P-E-L-L-E-D. At least I hope they did.
Thank goodness Cookie finally knows that hacking could get him expelled. Given how many times he’s done it already, he’d be leaning on the edge of expulsion if he got caught hacking with malicious intent, such as to fraudulently change the Killer Bees’ grades. If he had fewer offenses (or better yet, none), he’d probably lean toward getting DAEP if he breached the school’s computer security, but he’s got no chance now.
The worst part about Cookie not cleaning the baby is that it looks like they tattooed the baby, and tattoos generally can’t be removed without laser surgery. I have no clue how they didn’t think about that, especially given that you usually need to be at least 18 to get a tattoo.

Fun fact: one of the Killer Bees is played by Carlos Pena, one of the members of Big Time Rush (who coincidentally also had a show made by Scott fellows)
I’m kind of use to seeing the legitimate yearbook surveys being distributed in a limited fashion. I remember one year when they surveyed 100 students chosen completely at random for a mind-boggling question they decided to put at the end. (The question was, “What is the weirdest thing you have ever found in your backpack?”)
The Killer Bees’ coercive strategy to make Cookie change their grades reminds me of a few web videos I want to recommend, including “Cody’s Report Card!” from SML and “Kid Changes His Grades by Hacking, He Lives to Regret It” from Dhar Mann.
7:09 I’ve heard of this trope (oftentimes, I’ll see it in Captain Underpants) where the cafeteria food is so disgusting, it chemically comes to life and moves around. It’s really weird, and it’s something a nutrition program wouldn’t let slide. Even if they did (which they almost never do), that’s a health code violation.
I've got a funny memory to share. It stems from the whole teacher leaving the classroom thing and there was a little "thought train" to get there. I was sitting in a history class final exam in high school and suddenly the silence was disrupted by a kid out in the halls stomping around and running and yelling. He went up and down the hall and on his third pass my teacher got up from his desk and said "I'm gonna get that little @$$#*/3" and went out into the hall after him as we all laughed. What makes it even better was that it was his last day of teaching before retirement, in his last class of the day on his last day of teaching, and that happens. 😆😆😆 Also re: teachers leaving the room, I think of that scene in Kindergarten Cop (which, if you haven't seen that movie, do yourself a favor and watch it. Best Arnold movie ever IMO, it was one of my top favorite movies as a kid and I still love it every time I see it to this day). Anyway it was once again great to rewatch this classic here with you and to hear your commentary! Cheers!
All because the teacher who gave Carly the bad grade lowered the grade because it was written on 3-holed paper... which the teacher hated. Yeah, it's THAT petty.
1:55 at least at that point in middle school, I didn’t have actual friends, more like acquaintances that I would talk casually with and that I wasn’t really close with

I have no clue if the Killer Bees fabricated their hall passes or not. I don’t know which classes they have together, but usually, I am used to seeing teachers allow a maximum quantity of students to leave the classroom at a time if they haven’t been summoned by the administrators. I’d be willing to bet they did fabricate them because it’s just one of many ways you could get away with tracking someone else down like that.
I have seen students screaming and acting like stupid animals during a fight, unfortunately that sometimes happens in some schools in Latin America and there are teachers who don't care
"Change the menu"? Okay, I checked the channel this time, and it doesn't seem like you have any Danny Phantom content. While not a ton of school-related content - the show mostly revolves around superhero antics - we do see a lot of the school, such as ghostly lunch ladies and nerds and popular kids ordering each other to beat up other kids. One of the movies has Danny steal the answers to an important test, which (as it does) leads to a full-on apocalypse. If nothing else, it's a pretty fun watch.
Cool! This show does get recommended by viewers sometimes, so it’s likely it will make an appearance on the channel in the future. Let me know if you have a favorite episode! 😎👍

I was never popular, in fact popular always sounded like a made up thing in movies and TV, but I guess some students can be popular in real life. Relationship chemistry can certainly be complicated. When I've been with someone who just gives me "yes" or "no" responses to my questions or observations, then it has been difficult for me to decide how to proceed with the interaction🤔
