In Nepal, bank changes Indian rupees as per exchange rate which is 1.60 Nepali Rupees against 1 Indian Rupees but in boarder areas even Indian Shops demands payment in Nepali Rupees because they only get 1.4 - 1.5 in exchange. So, Indian currency is falling after 2018/19 in Boarder areas... while in central Nepalese areas even have same exchange value which is 1.6.

I think RBI should accumulate that has no counter party risk like Gold/Silver. Imagine what will happen if USD value goes down over night. That will make India lose billions in the current process of saving few millions.

The main reason is that our politicians are converting their dollars into rupees as they know dollar would fall in the future so they are not letting the Indian Rupee to appreciate,so that they later on make huge profits when dollar depreciate even more in the future.😢😮
It means no sane MNC is selling its high margin products in India. Only FDI is in GCC and backoffices, not in factories, because India just shrunk its market by depreciating the rupee. It also means Make In India initiative is a big flop.

Not impressed. Major reason is trade deficit and consequences of this the value of rupee is getting falling. Foreign reserve of china has also got increased due the same time frame but value of their currency has not been declined. RBI concept is also one of the reason but impact of this lesser than the trade deficit. Even in the month of Aug 24 , the trade deficit is more than 2.4 lakh crore.

For example the Yen, which the vid called best performing, has deprecited from 101 to 141 in last 5 yrears which is a fall of 40% compared to the rupee going from 76 to 83 which is a fall of 9%.

@@SUKHPREETSINGH-hy2zpbecause of resource is not from our country , no one knows for how much time that discount also will be there. And crude oil needs to get refined which again needs more money and state and centre try to reduce use by promoting use of electric vehicles

nonsense vid... Indian rupee improved in the last week... and over the last 1 year Indian rupee has only depreciated 51p... which is depreciation of just 0.61%... It is one of the best performing and most stable currencies in the world...

@@onidoremc9490 Rupee has only depreciated 50p in the last year.. which is much less than other currencies... its been pretty stable for the past one year... this vid is picking and choosing data to make its case.. first pointing out depreciation in the rupee over 5yrs then when comparing it to other currencies only showing data of 1 quarter. For example the Yen, which the vid called best performing, has deprecited from 101 to 141 in last 5 yrears which is a fall of 40% compared to the rupee going from 76 to 83 which is a fall of 9%.
