I wouldnt fixate on protein shakes specifically but protein to calories ratio and protein price per gram are extremely important factors to consider when you build your diet. Prices are very region dependent ofc but protein to calorie ratio is more universal and i recommend to focus on animal based food with
Exact ratio I am aiming for as well! Whey protein is just a stable in my diet because of how cheap and how easy it is to prepare. Still most of my protein comes from regular food!
Dont forget your colon. Consume of protein is important, but not that much as fiber is. You shouldn't forget to challenge you colon with high-quality fiber and give the body a chance to pull the important nutrients out of the food, cause that is the job of the colon. 😊
