im trying to figure out something cuz i havent played baseball in 3 years and i dont remember anything. And im gonna be a catcher and im trying to figure out if when someone is at 1st base and the ball goes past the catcher are they supposed to take there mask off and throw it to 2nd or keep the mask on
Generally we teach to take the mask off and toss out of your way as soon as possible, so as your turning to my o get the ball at the backstop you’d be removing your mask at the same time.
Just gives you better vision etc, but it’s not exactly required that you do so.

At what age does the choreographed cheers stop?! Lol. It’s so bad.
It sort of dies down at 11-12 but then you get the noise and shrieks trying to distract the pitcher while he throws.
It’s not something we do but we are seeing it more and more at 11u.

This is the Little League World Series Williamsport tournament. These are district games, where EVERYONE starts.
@@thosemillerboysYT the little league world series in williamsport is majors. that tournament is mainly 11 and 12u kids. so if it is 10u there is no way it is the LLWS where the winners go to state and then regionals and finally to Williamsport. 10U allstars stop at state. there is no World Series for that age.
Who sends a 1st and third throw with a weak Catcher after you showed and told him to throw it the inning before. Other team knew your poor plan.
That was an easy run! Unless you have a strong arm or a direct throw to the pitcher or 2 bag going back home. To check the runner down!
