Love, Honor and Respect to all the Jamaican Foundation Sound Systems. My favorite parts of the Sound Systems is the 1990's Vinyl Dubplates and the Turn Tables not the CD's or Laptops. Yes, Bass Odyssey spray up the Vinyl Dubs because it is the greatest sounds out of Jamaica. Yes, LP International Sound Systems. Love the Dennis Brown and the Vybz Kartel Dubs. Great music we a defend.
Great event I was there lucky I got videos of the showcase from start to finish but I didn't get to take pictures with all the celebrities especially the selectors because of my phone ran out of storage especially I didn't get to play my 4x4 exodus dubplates.

Bass Odyssey and the other sounds flap, the crowd a stand up and nah move. NYC people wah hear Barry Brown, Junior Reid, Johnny Osbourne , even Sammy Dread fi give a vibe to rock to the music . The sound dem a mash up the business not realizing that foundation is the key. One bag a bounty a follow behind each other not working. When you go Europe the sounds dem play foundation mostly, make the people dance and enjoy themselves.
Yeah but still country sound a d killer, right now if stone an them clash them a murda town sound, stone full of dub ,but it's how to play them in clash
What is he spraying on the records?! Also, isn’t he worried he will short out the electronics in the turntables by spraying that liquid?! I would be frightened to do that. I definitely would give a swift box to anyone doing that to my equipment! Using a record brush works wonders! It also doesn’t run the risk of destroying someone’s equipment. Every spray of that bottle had me nervous like a criminal in a room full of cops🫣
It's just water I believe, it stops static. That's my understanding of it, i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. I wouldn't worry too much, they know what they are doing.
@@anthonymclean9281 Water and electronics do not mix! Especially turntables! That causes corrosion within the internal wiring. Can also cause some wicked short outs that can possibly electrocute someone. You don’t have to listen to me though. I didn’t actually go to school to learn how to build all electronics such as this from the motherboard, up!🤷🏾♂️🫣
@@KB-pn3nf I know more of what to do than them! I am certified to build these electronics from the motherboard, up! Water and electronics do not mix at all! Ever! That can cause corrosion of internal wiring. That leads to short outs that can possibly electrocute someone. A record brush that has the metal bristles is what we use to eliminate static, crackle, or fry (as he labeled it above). No matter what, water is a definite no around electronics!

What does spraying water on the dub plate do?
If it scratch it help it to play better
Cool downtown . The frying Noise
It's most likely a mix of alcohol and either distilled or de-ionised water like I use...
