Wow,what a fantastic assembly of awesome train videos, your camerawork is great. The last segment, the rescue unit was kinda spooky and reminded me of a movie I remember from a long time ago. The unit being black added to the scene. Thank you for the videos,I do enjoy them. I fly RC,no drone stuff (yet), so the drone flying I especially appreciate. Keep up the great work.
Oh man you got me again on the WB in the first scene! Im the one telling the North Platte thst their rear dup is all black on the radio. It is so cool to see your videos of it. Those small WB manifests are the SPRV, Sparks to Roseville manifest. They are essentially a helper engine power move back to Roseville to push another train back up that has some cars that need to go to Roseville as well. It is very common to have a lot of power and trains basically the same size
@zsoren42 ooh OK cool, thanks for the info! That's awesome, caught you again going west. Does the board turn pretty good up there, or do you have days where you lay in?
@@RRTrainVideos For this board it goes both ways. In the summer right now with all the traffic its like out of town 2 days and home 2 days which is a good pace
@zsoren42 haha i wish. We're gonna try and get up there once a year, i love it. It sounds like a pretty cool job up there. Is there any chance getting bumped around or is roseville pretty stable?
Those train engineers have a really tough job, but I would like to believe that they are enjoying the view. The drone footage is amazing! I don’t know if it’s just me but I like the DPU to be somewhere in the middle of the line rather than at the end.
Another super video in a great location in Northern CA. I think at the 8 minute mark the car that you pointed out was a load of telephone poles going by, they looked very uniform
Excellent footage😃We love trains, we reside close to the Roseville Railyard🚂This is going right into my LOCOMOTIVES playlist😁Great video👍🏻New subscriber here #843ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Just how long is this one train? Also, what is the grade percentage in an area like that? Once just for the fun of it, the wife and I rode Amtrack from Fort Lauderdale, Fl. to Tampa, Fl. and back. It was a cool ride. It ran at 82 mph in open countryside.
Those GE locos are just laid back and mello, but those EMD are like screamin hysterical women little hill or big hill notch 8 and they's just a screamin, I know I know they do the 2 stroke whereas the GEs just simmer with the four stroke even in notch 8 they just move along cause they got the rhythm, yeah, yeah.
Looks like you're not far from the Euchre Bar trail head, there. Love the drone footage. Makes me want to get one. The audio did not seem to be coming from the drone. Guessing that was being recorded near your actual location near that pickup, correct?

With all the fires in calif it is nice to still see green trees. Nice video and drone action.

Those train engineers must have a tough job guiding these really long trains up and down steep inclines but still have great views.
BEAUTIFUL beautiful California!!! I'm comin' home to it some day

when i lived in southern Oregon, we used to see trainload after trainload of logs coming out of the mountains

Any chance UP will restore the 2 single track sections to double track,as it would make the line 100 percent fluid again!
Not sure about that one!

The grade here is around 2.2%, it does vary. And I would guess the first train is around 7,000'.

Is the Diesel Doctor in North Platte, NE?
Diesel Doctor - Locomotive Help Desk, in Omaha, NE as far as I know.
I forgot about Omaha being the main headquarters for UP.
Lots of empties at the end,lol
I was at casa Loma 4 4014
Awesome!
You can tell 7194 isn't fully loaded because its not billowing black smoke like most of the C44ACM rebuilds would.
Haha right!
Ah yes more of UP's top notch units. Nothing new here.
Are you still in Colfax?
No unfortunately not! I wish I was back up there haha, thanks for watching Cory. We were there 5 days starting August 10th.
