this is in now way original, but i felt that its a good sequel to mirrorball,
like the expectation of perfection for all of rory's youth then catching up to her as soon as she falters and fails. The questioning then, is she receiving love for who she is or is it for who she has been pretending to be? will she always be compared to her younger self, the one who did every activity and was the towns golden child
this is probs like thinking too much abt it but idk
sorry still going... i thought id mention the bit where rory gets her sat scores and lorelai says thank god you're not an idiot, like is she valued any less with failure, is she allowed to fail?

I've always felt like apologies in GG go way to easy. U just say sorry and move on? The only time that I really felt like they got across that its not always like that, was with Lorelai and Luke. The rest of the characters are just all really forgiving for no reason?
