Gracie says I’m a little and I’m going to eat like one. I think the feeders look nice up on the fences. Trudy sure was running fast today. She was coming in hot.
The troughs are so much easier. Grace knows how to eat out of those because she’s been eating out of half barrels for a while. Hope it works out. Because it really does keep things organized. Really does allow you to see each one eating. With the piles on the floor you really couldn’t tell because they were sharing. I also love the fact that they figured out how to do it through the fence. Lol animals are so funny.

Love the feeding stations! It's something new...it may take a few days of putting the feed out while they're in the pasture. They'll follow like they did when putting the food on the ground and realize there are a bunch of feeding stations. Once they figure it out then go back to filling the stations prior to letting them into that pasture.
🎉Success! 🎉 Trudy & Newton running for oatmeal was so cute. Huck knows his name and obviously trusts you. I used to hang water buckets on my fence for my dogs so I knew it would work well. Thank you for explaining the decision for the feed bowls. NOT that you needed to because it is YOUR decision, but it was alittle weird seeing them when Lester had said before that he was told it was better for them to eat off the ground. THIS reason does make sense.

I’m outside Albany New York, and the wind here lately Jami has also been unbelievable. So unbelievable it ripped shingles off our roof, which we are now trying to get fixed. Chip with his head through the fence trying to eat. 😂 Love that Gracie is feeling so comfortable with the babies. I think they’ll learn Jami overtime that there are more feeders around the pasture.
