Last December I've visited New York and I took a one-night trip to Pennsylvania to reunite with my English teachers as a child--Nonz and Eunice! 🥹

It is crazy how time flies so fast that now I could easily say "I haven't seen you in more than 10 years!". Nonz and Eunice were literally the sweetest ates I never had. I couldn't stop talking to them as a young innocent 10 year-old child. ❤️

But one thing struck me..when Nonz said that American life changes you --I saw it with my parents and cousins when they went back to the Philippines frim the US. They weren't just the same jolly, optimistic, chatty people as they were before. i guess its bec they really need to toughen up and show less emotions, but yeah its true... but its sad...
It must be nice to have people that you can call family even if you're not blood-related or not from the same race yet you have that bond that's as deep as a true family. You are my favorite Korean vlogger in the Philippines coz your contents show how much you've embraced the Filipino culture no matter how imperfect it is.
You can see why Jessica is succeeding as a TH-camr in the Philippines. Her heart belongs to the Philippines and to the Filipinos she grew up with and you can see how grateful she is
few minutes in and im already CRYING. the childhood videos just hit different. it’s so humbling to see how you and your family started off in the philippines and how much you grew to LOVE our country and our people. this is sooo heartwarming ❤ thank you for sharing this part of your life with us! nothing beats the filipino hospitality and community
This video just showed us (your subscribers/followers/fans) how good hearted you are and how grateful you are to people who helped you a lot (beside the fact that they were your tutors/teachers). In my own perspective, this video doesn't just solidified the fact that you're attitude and your character are of a Pinoy/Pinay, but as well as your Values and Culture too are of a Pinoy/Pinay. You don't need to be naturalized because for me, you are already, more Pinoy/Pinay than other full blooded Pilipino that I know of. Continue to do what you do. Use this platform to showcase your Talent and good attitude. You are a really good influencer especially to new generations out there. More videos and more power to you Jess!
This reunion is so heartwarming its making me teary eyed :'( jessica found people that treated her very special when they moved here in the Philippines. Im so happy she finally has the chance to meet the people that helped her and treated her like a true family ❤
I’m an American. My wife is from Bacolod. I met her there. I was moved by the Filipino heart even as most had very little. I have experienced joy from the second half of my soul. This video brought back fond memories. May our Savior JESUS continue to bless you.
It's beautiful that not only Jessica stays in touch w/ Nonz and Eunice, but Jessica's mom does as well. Even though they come from different countries and now live in separate ones, it's great to know that their bond has stayed strong throughout the years.

i 💯 agree. when my cousins went home to the PH from the US, the changes were too evident not to notice.. they just became aloof, less lively, uneasy..and i didn't understand back then. Now I know..

This was such a heart-warming experience captured in video. Sad that they have not gone back home for 8 years. It is not cheap to go back, with all the expenses and travel allowance, USD10K flies out of your pocket so fast, but the experience will be worth it.

It's nice of you to visit your teachers Jessica even though they are now in US. About the airpods, i think the ones that wraps around your ears are more secure like the apple beats or the newest ones from beats as well.
I just went to NYC last december! It was my first time to Nyc, washington dc and new jersey. I madly in love with Penn station aka Moynihan Train Hall because its safe, clean and food. Everything were so organized compared to other stations. I also love Grand central station, one of the oldest station. Its sooo beautiful esp the ceiling is wow! I miss NYC already
I also visited my relatives in New Jersey. I really miss them so much because I havent seen them since 1999. All of them became a nurse and teacher ❤

Funny how I came back to watch your videos and learned that you are this close to me. Don't get me wrong. I've always watched your videos (shot in the Philippines or Korea). I had no chance of watching in the past 2 months, though, due to work. First chance I got here you are just a few hundred miles away (I've settled in Maryland, that's how close I am to you).
