Yea I recently got mine. I like it so far. Only issue I have. I don't like the white ring. Seem to be sensitive or something. Like it click off. Not loosely,I snapped it back in place. Everything else it great. 😊
I run the Tilta Mini FF and it's decent. But SmallRig has added a lot of intelligent design features to this unit that are super handy. The palm grip alone might make me upgrade to it.
Thank you Tom for the review! I think that the possibility to reverse focus comes really useful with lenses such as nikkor that focus in the opposite direction...or for me as a nikon shooter, for the other brand lenses that focus in the wrong direction 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I may: The camera body shown well at 0:30 appears to be a Canon 1D series. If so, what cage is being used fro that body at the SmallRig F60, please? Is it the now-discontinued SmallRig CCC2365, by chance?
if you have great AF lens and camera then its not necessary in most situations. If you are working with manual lens then a follow focus is the only way to get good focus.
This follow focus is now on sale on B&H ➡ bhpho.to/3OgIgzK AND Adorama ➡ adorama.rfvk.net/Qy6Byo
So much thought has been went with this follow focus to address all the issues of past follow focus systems from all brands. Pretty impressive.
Yes! Small but important improvements

Queston: Is there available different size gear wheels, if needed to get full travel of lens focus ring?
Thank you Dave J
yes you can buy those separately
@@TomAntos Thanks
Great video as usuall
For some reasone I hear a noise from your mic, like static noise
Thanks! Maybe its the hum of the AC unit I have in the backyard?
Tom, is there an advantage to using this compared to a camera with back focus buttons to focus in or out?
