Hello everyone! A happy Sunday..right? 👀 Fresh faced rangers has familiar issues but at least foundations were set? ..or were they? What's your thoughts on today's game and where we go from here?
Still a lot of work needed CJ , performance once again slack , and this is what we're taking to Aberdeen doesn't pay to think of the outcome WHERES THE FIGHT , LOST THE MOJO NEED TO FIND IT , hate disliking the team l love
@cjnovo992 Nana and Cerny should be practicing overlaps and getting to know each other in training all week ready for the match, so I don't get why they wouldn't have an understanding come matchday?
Sorry guys. Turgid performance once again. Really surprised. Thought Propper looked really uncomfortable on the ball which is so unusual for a Dutchman. We really do have serious striking problems.
That Barron and Raskin midfield needs left alone for the forseeable. I thought Barron was good today, but Raskin was brilliant. I really want to like Propper and wanted him to do well, but my blood pressure just can't take too many more games with him getting absolutely bullied
I went in there 49 years old by the time I left I felt I had been retired 20 years … side to side side to side back to the keeper, the first half Butland had touched the baw more than the rest of the team put together
Another honkin game. I’m in my 50’s and followed the club since I was a wee boy. Wasn’t at the game but watched on tv, and I’ll be honest, I turned it off after 60 mins. Going by the number of empty seats in the stadium after HT it looks like a good few went for their pie and didn’t come back. Sadly, the excitement of watching our team appears to be disappearing very quickly. Watching our games is becoming a real chore. Then to listen to that clown telling us in his post match interview that it was a good performance just sickens me. Are we really accepting this sub-standard dross as the norm now?
Another 90 mins of my life dedicated to this utter misery. Honkin performance, I know we got the win but only just, we should be tucking teams like st mirren away comfortably at home!
Granted the defending from the corner is honking for their goal but I've not heard a single mention of the saints player blocking Butland coming for the ball.
@Rtitd1872 a feather would stop Butland coming for the ball. He's just not that type of brave goalie to come for everything, take everyone out and clear the ball, or catch it. !
I totally agree we should have taken a lot more goals from St Mirren to let us feel that we would at least have a chance against Celtic or Aberdeen. Really worrying days ahead
As always CJ you are spot on... A win is a win and like you say it's time to give these guys a chance as even if we draw or lose if we are at least building something it's better than drawing or losing with the same old culprits who have no sell on value and are on the decline and just because dessers set up the winner doesn't take away from the fact that he is awful and could have cost us the game
I completely agree. At least we have some young players in the team now. I'm just hoping that we sign Lennon Miller in January as he could be the goalscoring midfielder we need- plus he is young and Scottish. I can't really see it happening though, given we have just shelled out for Bajrami and Diomande. Most likely this is just a transition season tbh. Celtic look too good, but if we can have a decent run in Europe, win an Old Firm and claim one of the cups then it would be an acceptable season. Winning on Wednesday would be massive, I just wish we still had Sima in the team cos he has been a huge loss this season.
What? Tav and dessers changed the game for us yesterday and dessers great play won it. I like igamane and think he will come good but he was offering nothing, maybe the ridiculous yellow after 2 mins hampered him but hes been more effective as an impact sub.
Levels of doom and gloom are unbalanced. CJ spot on about Rashkin and Balogon and the younger players. Cerny and Barjani are skilled footballers. There was a superb piece of play between them with a cross field pass which Barjani instantly controlled on the moveand got his shot away. There is potential in Clement's signings. Propper is sadly the exception.
That’s what good teams that actually play good football say when they have a bad day 😂this is your average performance for the last 2/3 years in the league
Absolutely stinking from start to finish. An aggressive Aberdeen side will tear us to shreds on Wednesday. No dig, no fight, no one willing to go and attack a header, too easy to play through, stray passing for 90 mins. A team devoid of ideas, passion and fight.
Tough watch but win is a win. I thought wee raskin was class again today. Just hope he can stay fit. Cerny again👏👏. Cant see big propper still being here next season. Hes struggling.
We need to keep the changes we made today and let them bond. We also maybe need to add more changes. Give young Lovelace and other B team players their chance
CJ Scottish football is never played sexy it's rough and tumble and your spot on about the 3 players you pulled out for praise I think people forget to win titles in this league we have to show our dirty side sliding blocking
Once again honest and encouraging coverage of a pretty dismal game specially the first half . As I have said on other side I believe we have the beginning of a decent side , unfortunately in this goldfish bowl of a league managers do not get time, and perhaps this may happen I hope not . There are some positives and I believe we perhaps will prevail eventually . Enjoy the casts keep up the good work , onwards and upwards.
I was happy with the win. Hopefully it's the start of building a run. I feel like we are getting effort and application from Bajrami, Cerny, Raskin, Barron, Jefte, Balogun, Kasanwirjo. They all need to improve but the effort was there. There a quite a few new guys so they haven't quite gelled. Igamane will improve and gets time. Propper is more experienced and his grace period is running very low. The rest need to buck up and believe more. I know Dessers got the assist but the way he fell and the chances missed was so poor. If we had a better finisher we would bury teams on the chances he misses. I am fed up with a lot of his antics.
Raskin Barron partnership best we have but we need a 10 with goals and craft. That's not Diamonde, got to be either Hagi or Bahjrami. Sadly Dessers is still ahead of any other 9 at the club. Until Jan.
To repeat what I commented in your preview video yesterday....we need players to be brave and direct. The one time we were (Dessers assist), we got a goal. Barely created any chances otherwise. Kasanwirjo aside, the backline were very poor and fragile today.
@@cjnovo992 great point, for the wage he’s being paid, it’s frustrating it takes him getting benched to bring some energy and actual invention to his game
It was a hard watch at times today, but you've nailed it again CJ. Plenty ball wasted, plenty plays broke down with missed passes, and our centre backs had a nightmare against their big striker, but we still won the game. Balogun saved big proper today, he was diced up! We missed big John Soutar, but we still won the game. And dessers played his best in several games after not starting. Let's see what happens on Wednesday, a massive test to see if we are making progress
Youve hit nail on head i think CJ - these type of results are fine for teams like Dundee or Killie but Rangers at home cant be scrapping wins every week. Something is not right and needs to be fixed . Football is also an entertainment business and if you arent going to be challenging seriously then you better at least be treating fans to more exciting football

The nods and raised eyebrows at the beginning said it all! We can all understand the message before you even begin to speak. The three points are very welcome but we want to be entertained too. Which version of Rangers will turn up at Pittodrie? Unless it’s the European version, we can pack up and go home. But a win would lift us greatly. No room for anything less.
Agree with your summary at the beginning of your podcast CJ. Desperate for Igamane to be successful but he needs to stay more central and get into 6 yard box when a ball is going to come in from the wings
The only reason I'm more annoyed at the performance is that even though we are off the back of a European game and it's difficult and I get that but if you look at the other side of Glasgow in that lot they've still managed to put out a performance and won the game comfortably in the end where as we are struggling against a st mirren team who aren't in the best of form
That was what Paul Le Guen years was like, too many quality young players, that where playing against Men playing for their job’s and livelihoods, with bags of experience in the dark arts too draw on, My fear is Rangers are one more young player towards tipping the scale, where young talented players are bullied, While the experience in the Team are playing on the wings Next player I would like to see Walk in the Door Is Jonjo Shelvey A Man who could bring to the Club as Leon Brought
I mentioned on another one of your videos, Craig, that the Stephen Robinson would make sure that the Buddies would be coming to Ibrox Park looking to take points, your team's 'fear factor' has gone, bud. Even so, the way they outright attacked you from the first whistle surprised me and they were in control of the game for the first 20 minutes or so. The Gers actually scored against the run-of-play...............at Ibrox..............against the Buddies 👀. Your manager started Robin Propper and Dio against that St. Mirren team and the very obvious happened after that, they were rag-dolled for the entire game. Dio isn't for the Scottish domestic game, mate, when he plays against the likes of St. Mirren and Killie he's like an empty crisp packet in the wind. No strength, no pace and keeps trying to play a European-type of football in domestic games. He's a liability at this point and I don't care if he scored that flukey goal either, I stand by what I said. Your manager never seems to learn from his mistakes, Craig, which is more than a little worrying.
Evening cj just home from the game was nearly sick on the boat but i did flag bearer and ended up talking to McCausland and Clement and done a training session in the pitch beside ibrox but thought the atmosphere was flat today. Good vid CJ
We are such a tough watch, the European night thing is a convenient excuse because let’s be honest when we play in a non European week we are so exciting to watch.I’m just tired of it all , do I want the manager sacked don’t care and that’s the scary thing
Spot on again cj. And although propper was terrible,I thought there big forward was really good too?,he caused us loads of trouble, and on nana,I’ve wanted him in like nearly every other fan apart from the Tav fan club, but he looked so comfortable in both positions he played,I never once worried when he was either in a duel,or just on the ball in general.🇬🇧
Id love to see us play in the league with a swagger... why is it always a stagger. 😩 Was propper drunk? He was so bad !! Cerny has been brilliant though glad hes finding form. 💪 Nice to see Dio get a goal too
Made the changes we wanted to see and got the win which are the main things, you cant just throw players together it takes time to build that understanding so wasnt exepcting a 5 star master class, propper for me is struggling and its a concern as i had high hopes for him, also not sure how we incorporate both diomande and bajrami as you can only have one 10,but on to the next one with hopefully the same starting 11
Proving again to be a Top Pod! Highlighting the positives the Doom-Mongers choose not to see. 👏 Yes, there were negatives but this squad is moving in the right direction
Big jefte. Forget when it was but he went chest to cheat with a st mirren player an I think the st mirren player's arse fell clean out of him . Jefte had that look in his eye that said you don't want this kid & I loved it. Havnt seen that from a rangers player since morelos.
Do rangers fans really want to have no manager, no CEO and no chairman all at the same time??? Serious question is getting rid of PC the answer at this moment in time??
It's not surprising we are struggling along just ,but it's really boring to watch and the lack of confidence within the team doesn't seem to be improving imo 🤷, thanks cj it's a win 👍
Just win Wednesday and move on . St mirren striker looks decent. Raskin was brilliant and the AJAX CERNY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. Let’s go rangers. Big kas has to play every week he looks so comfortable at centre half and brilliant at right back
Teams now fancy it against Rangers and no wonder, we are miles of it and the gap will only get wider at the top. This is a paper over the cracks job, aye a win is a win but cmon man if you think this team have got what it takes then your wearing blinkers.
That's a bit harsh. Ridvan is a good player, he is just constantly injured. Hopefully we can get out money back for him in January and spend that money elsewhere. Cos I think we bought him for £4/5m.
@@Demondoink1how can you say that's harsh yet say you want to get money back for him and try and defend him by saying he is injured all the time? Your brain is injured.
@@ewanmclean3319 Okay mate settle down there. Maybe another team can help deal with his injuries better, and he is sought after in Turkey as he is highly rated there. It's not his fault he is constantly injured, hence why I said it's harsh.
Worrying times again today. Clement is married to this 4231. His stubbornness is inevitably going to cost him his job. If every single supporter can see that it’s not working. Why can’t a professional coaching staff and an experienced manager? The players look totally lost when asked to break down a low block
@@cjnovo992 you’d like to think so, personally I don’t see it happening. The only way to see off the dross in the league is go hell for leather and wrap the game up early doors. A one goal lead against these sides is always a good result as it only takes one set piece or mistake late in the game. See it all the time, he will persist with his mid block nonsense and an isolated striker no doubt
Hardly a low block when they created the best chances first half that boy they had up front should have had a few goals but they didn't sit in and showed us how crap propper is
3 points but there were so many times during the game I felt like switching the game off and firing up the Xbox. Can we swap Dessers for their striker?
@@robertrowan8738 I'd have him up front instead of Dessers. The way he finished his offside goal off was class, whereas Dessers falls over looking for a nonexistent penalty.
Hopefully for Aberdeen we get a back four of kasa on left, balogan,Souter and sterling on right because if Tav plays we are going down in flames. But you see how we take throwings take ten minutes and it’s passed back where St m they were throwing it long into the box, throwing corners into the box We play short and never got it in the box.
Jefte has been great recently but i think he was a wee bit off it yesterday, not by much though but i think he looked a wee bit jaded since hes played alot recently
I wish rangers fans would have more patience, we got 3 points after a European game, a big win in Pittodrie on Wednesday will be a huge shot in the arm , keep the faith WATP
Raskin getting back to the form when he first joined. I reckon Propper would be better suited to CDM than centre back. Bit like Bert Konterman mk2. He looks like a good ball player but far too slow and not strong enough for this league at CB. Nana was solid he's got to start either at rb or rcb from now on.
Well, that's another 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. The positives, 3 points THAT'S IT, the negatives, nobody has 8 hours to list them, sick to the core with this tripe.
At least there was effort, which was clearly missing v Killie. I thought this one was ’ugly’ because the passing was too inconsistent, especially approaching the box. Obvious that Propper was overpowered… so Nana was moved in and shut him down… would have been interesting to see Sterling on the right, instead of Tav(just saying). Also, really starting to like Cerny… he’s taken serious heat for poor finishing (twice) and bounced back beautifully under the pressure.
Butland has too come out and clear more if he sees his defenders not going to clear.. at killie he could have and at ibrox for the gogic goal he could have punched clear.. was in his domain.. goram Chris woods took no prisoners at dangerous balls in.. for me two goalkeeping eras if you fell the defender has been done it’s your job to clear
The hype for Igamane is bizarre, he’s nowhere near ready to lead the line for us, or as good (?) as Dessers. We also looked lost and rudderless until Tav came on.
Watched both games, the difference was a bit startling, Motherwell game was really entertaining and quality on show, watched rangers game and wasn’t, if anything St Mirren impressed more 😊
Beating St Mirren 2-1 at home didn’t give me anything to cheer about, I wasn’t a single ounce impressed with thus performance at home today, WE COMPLETELY C**P

Good vid CJ
Internet Loyal got to see the team they want, did it work. Not really. Good win.
Yes, there were negatives but this squad is moving in the right direction
Hard watch today but 3 points and move on 😂
Big jefte. Forget when it was but he went chest to cheat with a st mirren player an I think the st mirren player's arse fell clean out of him . Jefte had that look in his eye that said you don't want this kid & I loved it. Havnt seen that from a rangers player since morelos.
@@s0mp0p never happens on a football pitch 🤡
Slow tempo kills us every time
The fact we even let balogun go was a joke defence should have been rebuilt around him after 55
55? 😂😂😂
@@davey8914 wit ye laughing at ya p*do
Do rangers fans really want to have no manager, no CEO and no chairman all at the same time??? Serious question is getting rid of PC the answer at this moment in time??
Aye it is the right answer. Guys bald for a start. Should never have been given the job for that alone.
It's not surprising we are struggling along just ,but it's really boring to watch and the lack of confidence within the team doesn't seem to be improving imo 🤷, thanks cj it's a win 👍
Yeah it's poor
Just win Wednesday and move on .
St mirren striker looks decent.
Raskin was brilliant and the AJAX CERNY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED.
Let’s go rangers.
Big kas has to play every week he looks so comfortable at centre half and brilliant at right back
Simple Ignamane was removed because he was booked previously!
Yeah 2 mins in 😂😅😅 what a joke of a ref.
Teams now fancy it against Rangers and no wonder, we are miles of it and the gap will only get wider at the top. This is a paper over the cracks job, aye a win is a win but cmon man if you think this team have got what it takes then your wearing blinkers.
To think what jefte has done in a blue shirt compared to that failure yilmaz
@@Demondoink1 I get it’s harsh how about you pay his wages and you will see why the SUPPORTERS have had enough of this incompetent pish from the TOP
Worrying times again today. Clement is married to this 4231. His stubbornness is inevitably going to cost him his job. If every single supporter can see that it’s not working. Why can’t a professional coaching staff and an experienced manager? The players look totally lost when asked to break down a low block
Surely he Needs to be confident enough of himself to go 442 against St Mirren at Ibrox.
Yeah it's disappointing, I wonder when Danilo is fit he'll at least..try?
@@cjnovo992 you’d like to think so, personally I don’t see it happening. The only way to see off the dross in the league is go hell for leather and wrap the game up early doors. A one goal lead against these sides is always a good result as it only takes one set piece or mistake late in the game. See it all the time, he will persist with his mid block nonsense and an isolated striker no doubt
Hardly a low block when they created the best chances first half that boy they had up front should have had a few goals but they didn't sit in and showed us how crap propper is
hopefully we can get another couple of years out of Balagon, like we did David Weir.
Wish he was as available
3 points but there were so many times during the game I felt like switching the game off and firing up the Xbox.
Can we swap Dessers for their striker?
there striker was a class above ours.
@@robertrowan8738 I'd have him up front instead of Dessers. The way he finished his offside goal off was class, whereas Dessers falls over looking for a nonexistent penalty.
St Mirren played this game like a cup final.....and lost 👏
Hopefully for Aberdeen we get a back four of kasa on left, balogan,Souter and sterling on right because if Tav plays we are going down in flames.
But you see how we take throwings take ten minutes and it’s passed back where St m they were throwing it long into the box, throwing corners into the box We play short and never got it in the box.
The final nail is watching Tav "jog" up to take every corner, shy, free kick etc etc.
Fuk it,id get Kris Boyd in as interim
Guys got a very east coast of Scotland accent, probably fae nae where near Glesga
Jefte has been great recently but i think he was a wee bit off it yesterday, not by much though but i think he looked a wee bit jaded since hes played alot recently
Yourself and Owen James provide the best commentary on all things Rangers.
Thanks Maze
It was a close game
I wish rangers fans would have more patience, we got 3 points after a European game, a big win in Pittodrie on Wednesday will be a huge shot in the arm , keep the faith WATP
Hmmmm!!! Will take the result but 🤦 still not convinced.
Propper is not an upgrade or same as Goldson, he was Propper sh1te today
Goldson was on £33k p/w, Propper probably on £10k p/w. £1m+ p/a saved.
Thought raskin and barron played well 3 points but still poor in other areas of the pitch
Robben is too slow for midfield.
Well, that's another 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. The positives, 3 points THAT'S IT, the negatives, nobody has 8 hours to list them, sick to the core with this tripe.
Propper was proper gash
😂 cj 👏
Defeat on Wed is the end for Clement
I don't think he'll leave no matter what
The hype for Igamane is bizarre, he’s nowhere near ready to lead the line for us, or as good (?) as Dessers. We also looked lost and rudderless until Tav came on.
Watched both games, the difference was a bit startling, Motherwell game was really entertaining and quality on show, watched rangers game and wasn’t, if anything St Mirren impressed more 😊
Are you an airplane mate? Turn that AC down 😅😂
Beating St Mirren 2-1 at home didn’t give me anything to cheer about, I wasn’t a single ounce impressed with thus performance at home today, WE COMPLETELY C**P
Propper was terrible today, in fact he's been quite poor overall.
We need warriors
What's your thoughts in are formation?
