A little random story for you. The year is somewhere around 2004 and David had just re-joined Morbid Angel. I had been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and had tickets to see them in London. The day before the concert I came down with a terrible flu, and had also put my back out quite badly at work lifting something really heavy. Determined not to miss this special reunion I went anyway. I stood at the back, trying to keep out of everyone's way and kept my big coat on the whole time because I was really cold, even though the venue was boiling. As 'God of Emptiness' erupted the crowd went ape shit, and the entire place turned into one big mosh pit. I was sucked in and crushed to the point that something in my back popped, and all of a sudden the pain was gone! Took me till the end of the night to realise my cold had gone too, because I had sweated it out. I went home healed! Most amazing night ever. Cant wait to see Pete back with David next week in London!

@@Heretical I think this is not a I am Morbid VS Morbid Angel thing. Its just my opinion. Morbid Angel dont play the classic stuff anymore, thats ok for me, but i also like that I Am Morbid actually play stuff from the first 4 albums.
This sounds amazing! I am morbid was about to come to south america months before the pandemic, I was so ready to see them, but it got cancelled Wish they did a new tour around here now
Love them both.. Steve & Dave.. 'Kingdoms Disdained" is a great ass album.. Seen M.A with Incantation, and with Suffo b4 that.. And, if I am morbid happens to play in town, definitely will go..Hats off to both singers, regardless of the situation! \,,,/..
Tucker sucks big time. Vincent is irreplaceable in Morbid angel. Vincent voice is on another level that tucker can't touch it. That's why morbid angel sucks without vincent
@@momomono795 Vincent decided to not even try to learn the Tucker era songs so he can kick rocks. Steve on the other hand kills early MA stuff.. No comparison really.
I was in this show, they are just amazing, Pete's drumming is unique, he played the whole set almost without triggers on his pedals, yeap after 3 songs he had technical problems with the triggers so he used microphones only. It was more than amazing. I took some photos and vids but not so good quality. I'll try to make Italy.

@@anlace3447 not anymore, he wants to prove that triggers don't make the drummer, but he uses on the pedals the thing is he is having technical problems with the ones he got for the tour so he is gonna use mics until the new ones arrive, they are on their way so he should get them in 2 or 3 days.
back injury.. there once was a problem with dave being politicull or too satanic oriented.. and trey wanted to stick to the occult. There also was a problem about how to approach the music with trey being more of the hendrix person and dave tended towards industrial music..

Who knows, at first it was probably his conversion to Christianity but that was probably because he was a new convert. He also probably knew what the new Morbid Angel album at the time was going to be and he had a bad back. Either way I am glad he is back.
I'm Pete's wife, that's not the reason, morbid has issues and for some reason the can't play out of the states. When David called Pete to join Iam Morbid, Pete asked about Trey but David and Trey Had their differences in the past. Pete feels comfortable playing with David of course ,they had history and Also with Bill. So do you tginm is about God? Common he is playing morbid songs, it's about Trey and the fact that they don't even have a communication.
I do not think Pete has a problem with David or Trey. Trey kicked David out of Morbid Angel and got Steve Tucker back without even letting David know. Then Trey's Mom said David shouldn't be using Trey's songs. I do not think David would ever share the stage with Trey again, even if Pete wanted that.
@@anlace3447 and that's not the real story, David didn't want to work with Trey anymore either. About the songs David has the rights too, so it's ok now, even Trey's mom supports Pete. So all good my point is *it was not because of Pete "Met God" like that dude said. :) He said Pete is not playing with Trey cuz he met God haha :)

The guitars are missing that feeling Trey Azagthoth gives when he plays. David Vocals are not that great here
