Great review thank you. I also found the lack of a way to pick it up annoying, the top of the handle isn't the easiest way to carry it around especially up and down stairs. Some side rollers would be a great idea and take care of skirting boards and the bottom of cupboards.

It's absolutely fine, we use it on ours all the time.

Thank you! Almost dry, it depends on how much solution you use and how many dry passes you do.
I am intending to purchase a hardfloor cleaner and contemplating between the Bissell Crosswave and the Vax Glide. Its just to wash a flat hardfloor with no big crumbles of food nor any rugs. Would you still recommend the Bissell Crosswave? I also intend to get a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner so inclined to go with the Vax One Power range for both. What's your suggestion?
If your going to get a vacuum always, I'd recommend the Vax Glide and the Vax blade, that way you'll have two batteries.
That's the setup I'm running in my house.
If you had rugs then I'd say Bissell Crosswave.

How do i remove the handel after i have put it in
Thanks for the review, I’m torn with the Vax one pwr glide or the Bissel crosswave. What would you recommend? The noise level of the Bissel is a bit off putting but the rug mode and it being corded is a plus. Can you use the Vax on carpet just to give it a quick refresh?
That's the downside of the Vax Glide, you can't use it on rugs.
I'd say go with the Bissell.

I bought this cleaner, partly on the basis of your review, and I wouldn’t recommend it for tiled floors. The cleaner should be a labour-saver, but it doesn’t live up to its promise. As you’ve said, it can’t clean up to the skirting boards, but worse, it doesn’t clean things like dried food drops. And when the floor is very dirty (we have a dog), as you pull back from the end of a forward stroke, it will often drop a dirty puddle behind. My floor cleaning routine now is to wash the floor with a mop and bucket, and then use the Vax to dry the floor.
The battery takes good hand strength to squeeze the side lugs to get it out of the machine. Anyone with any degree of arthritis in their hands should avoid the Vax. The dirty water container doesn’t always want to sit securely in the machine. Sometimes it seems to be in place, but then pops out when moved. I don’t understand why the ‘eco’ power setting isn’t the default. The ‘high’ power is annoyingly noisy and I can’t see that it makes any difference in cleaning effectiveness.
Our vax stopped working after a month and got repaired under warranty. I’ve no idea what the cause of the problem was. Packing it for sending back was a nightmare because I’d recycled the box it came in. I won’t make that mistake again!
In summary, it’s over-priced for what it can do.

I'd imagine this KEEPS floors clean and not actually clean dirty floors you'd have to clean a dirty floor (like grained vinyl flooring)

This product is very similar to the Hoover Onepwr. It looks very similar in color and design.
It is the same in UK it's known as Vax and USA Hoover.

Not really your floor will stay wet from the uneven part, as the head does not pivot.

Keep the crosswave, my daughter's got one, and I've got this one. Personally out of the two the crossbar is the better, my one has lots of faults, that blue button to press to get the roller out, it's a swine, and the clear one underneath what a nightmare, we've never been able to get it back on, so personally I hate it, I loved my Kartcher is was perfect, so if you can get one of those do get one perfection!
@@elliebarrington-denning3218 I ended up keeping the crosswave and just replaced all the replaceable parts from Bissell website and purchased the Kärcher fc7 (in love with how quiet it is!) and If I need to vacuum, longer than 45 minutes I use the crosswave which hasn’t happened since I purchased the Kärcher vacuum
Hi there I've had a Dyson animal and would never touch a Dyson again😡. My house is 90% hard floor, but I do have carpet on stairs and landing can I still use the hoover as a normal hoover on carpet too or is this machine just for hard floor only

I bought the same machine exactly but under Hoover brand name! How come?
In USA it's under the Hoover brand and UK it's under the VAX brand
Any advice on how the water solution works doe does not seem to release to the floor properly floor is virtually bone dry hardly any solution on floor at all

Hi, just a quick questions, i have 24 special needs cats and 3 dogs so i was wonderng can you leave the clean water and mixture sitting in the clean water tank ready for when you need it or do you have to keep it empty at all times until you have to use it jplease ? thanks tania (human slave to fur-babies)

On eco mode not very wet at all, on boost model a bit wet but the more you go over it with a dry pass it drys up quickly.

Can u vacum and clean seperatly or is it always cleaning and vacuuming together? Also wer is the vacuumed compartment??
It only let's solution out when you press the trigger the compartment is at the front which collects the dirt and solution.
It's designed to do both you can use it as a dry vacuum however the performance isn't as good as a stand-alone vacuum cleaner.

Used it etc then put it back in the tray
It still had solution n clean water in the tank, but when I come back to it
The tray was full of the clean water n solution that I left in the bottle
Is that rite?
I didn’t think I’d have to take out the clean water tank after every wash, as sometimes I mite not use all the water n solution left in tank

No it's not a steam cleaner. I have reviewed many steam cleaners. Shark have released a new steam cleaner, first of a kind, review will be up soon.
The only thing I don't like is its very loud xx
We've got one of these.... It's dreadful. It struggles to pick up the water from our tiled kitchen and dining room floors on Max power. Eco mode is therefore pointless. The spinning roller is no where near the width of the head it is located in so edge cleaning is impossible. There is a plus point... It is well made. Pointless though if it doesn't do as advertised. Would not recommend this thing to anyone.

Just bought one so far not impressed floor not dry enough just as wet as mopping aircraft powerglide floor cleaner much better
Are you going over without pressing the trigger? You should do that a few times, if the floors are still over wet contact Vax.
I got one of these and I to found my floor soaking wet so I returned it.
