- Today I went on a daytrip to Swabia, Germany and it´s just as magical and full of fairytale castles as Bavaria. I´ll tell you about the legend of the Stone Maidens of Eselsburg Castle and show you some of the magical and beautiful sights in this part of Germany, plus a bonus trip to the Steiff teddy bear town!
This is a calm, storytelling video, to transport you away for a while, like all my videos on this channel.
My meditative videos show a calming and artistic view of the places I visit and the quiet, peaceful wanders I take through them. Medieval villages, picturesque cottages, beautiful cities. Relax and escape with me from the busy bustling world to my dreamy and serene slow living way of seeing my surroundings. it is 0315 in the morning here in the US and I still up watching your fabulous videos :).I guess that you can say that I am hooked lol lol. That was an awesome story about the magical legend of the Stone Maidens. I will surely have to visit Eselburg as well as the Teddy Bear Museum on one of my travels. It’s quite a lot to learn, making TH-cam videos, isn’t it?! I used to go to the Eselsburg with my dinner on Summer nights, to watch the fireflies up the hill, looking down to the valley… ahhh…!

Dir so zuzuhören gibt mir jedes Mal ein so unglaublich gutes Gefühl.
Ich habe die letzten Tage immer mal wieder genutzt noch ein bisschen mehr über dich zu erfahren und es wäre echt toll dich mal live zu hören, bei einem deiner vielen tollen Auftritten. Falls es dich nicht eventuell irgendwann nach Wien verschlägt, dann hoffe ich in Deutschland die Gelegenheit zu bekommen.

Hallo Lauren, heute habe ich dieses Video angeschaut. Ich stelle fest, dass man in Deinen Videos unheimlich viel über den jeweiligen Ort lernt. Giengen und die Eselsburg habe ich schon mehrmals besucht, da ich nicht so weit entfernt wohne und lerne trotzdem immer wieder einiges dazu. Wenn ich etwas Stress am Tag hatte, schaue ich mir ein Video von Dir an und die passende Musik und Deine ruhige Stimme bringen mich wieder in die richtige Stimmung. Danke schön.
Das macht mich so froh. Die Welt war immer schwierig- aber momentan brauchen wir alle ein paar Minuten, die uns die Stimmung verbessert. Wenn mein Videos Dir dabei helfen, bin ich so glücklich.

Du hast eine sehr, sehr besondere Gabe. In allen alten / bewahrten Kulturen gibt es ja die GeschichtenerzählerInnen; die BewahrerInnen. Dazu hast Du eine wunderschöne; beruhigende Stimme- was bräuchte es mehr in dieser schnellen; grellen Welt voll Oberflächlichkeiten?
Ich schätze sehr Dein ruhiges; dem Auge ruhegebendes Filmen ohne schnelle Schnitte; die perfekt ausgewählte Musik und dass sich in den Videos Deine alte Seele so sehr widerspiegelt.
Auch mag ich; dass Du nicht filmst; was alle oder viele filmen; die Deutschland entdecken. Ich bin eine "Reisetante"; 99% jenseits der großen Touristenhochburgen.
Und ich kann nur sagen: Es gibt wirklich sagenhafte Plätze; wenn man weiß; wo.

Just saw this because you linked me to it. I really like it, mostly because I grew up nearby (in a small village near Aalen). There are so much more places that would suit your beautiful videos there (the Harburg near Nördlingen - incredibly well preserved), riding the small gauge steam train from Neresheim to the Castle Katzenstein, the small town of Ellwangen an der Jagst, Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen itself with its fully complete city walls and many many more, this is home to me, and since I moved to Bavaria near Pfaffenhofen I do miss it every day.
I know the Katzenstein and of course Ellwangen (I sang in the Schlosshof there). Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen are beautiful. It´s very different in this region. Also, the thermal baths in Aalen are very special. I am sorry you miss home, it´s a horrible feeling. I hope it´s not too bad.
@@LaureninGermany :-) then you know my origins quite well. I am fine living here, It was necessary for work and we (my soon-to-be-wife and myself) managed to create a cozy home, but everytime we visit my parents I get a bit homesick - but you can't live in the past.
I agree on the thermal baths in Aalen - there is nothing quite comparable here around - especially since the interior takes up the roman theme quite well. Much more beautiful than "Beuren" for example.

@@LaureninGermany A bar with many kinds of whiskey in Aalen? damn - I need to be there more often 😅 When I moved away from there I was not really into Whisk(e)y - which certainly changed later. You don't happen to remember the name? it wasn't "Maverick" I guess? Interesting side note is that you write whiskey, is that an irish heritage or is it written like that in wales as well? (btw: I like Penderyn).
@@kayneahnung3661 actually, I can never remember if it’s whiskey or whisky, so I let autotype decide! I have Penderyn in the cupboard! I will ask my husband the name- he should remember.
A wonderful story, beautifully told and a well made video.
With my headphone, I can hear the spoken voice only with my left ear. Is that a problem at my side, a mistake or intended? The music is stereo (or at least balanced).
