I really do wish they had made the concept of s17 cannon like that could’ve been android 17s ultimate form or his own version of a transformation to use when he feels is needed.

The concept of super android 17 isn’t bad at all (the design is so cool) the execution is what bothers me with nonsense and serious plot holes
I don’t see any real plot holes pertaining his character. The only real thing I thought was kinda silly was his barrier protecting both him & Goku from Goku’s self destruction.

This edit made this fight actually pretty good. When I watched this fight and almost all the other fights there was no satisfaction. At least in super there are fights that no matter long how many times I see them I still get hyped. When watching GT the fights aren’t exciting and are the same thing every time.

Just a conjecture:
It has the same effect as fusion dance. It gives multiple power boost when they merged. Also, the gt doctor created a superior android 17 as vegeta has trouble keeping up with him on one to one.
And since the merger is still an android, he was always at his maximum physical strength since androids dont get tired. Plus his beam absorbing ability.
So:
Physical strength stronger by multiple times than just an android and always at maximum
Beam absorbing ability

SSJ4 Goku could have turned Super 17 into paste with physical attacks but they made Goku so stupid that he super charged 17 up with energy blasts.
@@spcmegreg yea..however I like to think goku thought that when he blasted super 17 with his kamehameha it would overload him and hed either blow up or short circuit from too much energy(like yakon). This may be the case as after he suspects 17 is getting stronger from ki attacks he says, ("Just how much can he take!?)

I really didn’t like the super 17 arc. Super Saiyan 4 Goku was strong enough to pound 17 into paste with his fists but they made him so stupid that he super powered 17 up with energy blasts.

😂😂😂 It just simply was not bro. The only good things that came from DBGT was Baby and SSj4. It didn't introduce any new characters, it had no character development, the villains were the typical generic villains who want to destroy the world for no reason, none of the characters from DBZ are kept relevant, and older characters such as Frieza and Cell are turned into garbage.
