I’ve really enjoyed this so far. The work that goes into fabricating new pieces etc is very impressive. It’s easy to see what these restorations are expensive.
I think I've finally figured it out, I'm sure now that I'm here 40% for the engineering expertise, and 60% for a chill-out session 😁. Unreal is a sweet tune.
amazing work! New to your channel, but I'd seen your work on someone else's vids. Really appreciate seeing all the steps and honestly, the artwork that is involved in these repairs. Can't wait to see the end result, but don't mind when a video rolls into the next because everything is done RIGHT.
Its a joy to watch you make those parts Ryan..you sure have gotten the best of skills buddy..hope you guys are staying warm its in the twenties here and going to be down below zero and giving a snow ❄️ accumulations for next week i dreading it..take care and God bless im a little behind on video's but im going to catch up tonight.
Some of your most intricate fabrication yet Ryan! Love how this is coming together. Would I be correct to assume that you were using thicker steel for the jacking point? Would be interesting to know speed and voltage when you are welding.
This is real art. 🖤 What about Colin's E30? I look forward to the next part (or has it completely disintegrated to rusty pieces 😉?). Greetings from Germany, Marcus
This is why it’s worth spending as much money as possible on a car which doesn’t need welding. Involved, even when you have the skills and facilities to repair them. Fair play to you, I don’t think I’d have the patience for it!
Love the content guys. But I only have one suggestion. Get a bigger music library. All your videos have the same 5 songs. So watching a rebuild playlist is just the same 5 songs on repeat. I love to watch while I work.
I've done lots of rot repairs in my day back in the 60s and 70s gas welding, arc welding, and mig. It's a horrible job making sure you don't set the car on fire, and lots of fiddly pieces lying on your back getting burnt. As I'm in my 70s I would hate to think I would have to do it now.
…since you can’t wait, the orange BMW you mentioned has in fact already made several, albeit very brief and unfeatured appearances, lurking in the background on a few of YCR’s more recent videos, for instance in ‘How Bad Is It ?? : Colin Furze BMW E 30’, which came out approximately 1 month ago. The colour is loud, making the car easy to spot, hope that helps 😊
Most of what you guys magically do is “unmanufactuable” Also I saw another program where auto Alex has an MX5 with jag engine in need of chassis rust repairs!
So glad I don't live in the UK anymore and have to deal with a climate that trashes vehicles. Rust killed off more.than one of my cars back in the day, even when they were still mechanically sound.
Another masterpiece of metal bashing Ryan. Just wondering, don't know if you've ever watched the "Restore It" YT channel, but he found somewhere (in Scandinavia maybe?) that was re-manufacturing a lot of the E30 panels that BMW have discontinued, may be worth a look?
I'm starting to think, no matter how much you are charging AutoAlex, it's not enough. He would have probably been better getting a better condition frame, acid dipping it, having you do your magic on it, then new paint and a full rebuild.
@trangvurley2555 Free you say? Old out yer and! I actually need a dent fixing on my car. I may have jacked it up at the wrong point when I got a puncture one night coming home from work and couldn't see what I was doing. Would love to have it repaired by a pro
So in theory.. as far as I understand Alex made his first ever youtube video with a E30.. and he said E30 touring is his favorite. When he called you he did look depressed asf when he asked you if you could do even the E30............. would be funny tho if Alex just bins it in the third roundabout when he gets his hands on this- his so called dream car xD . Depression intensifies. Anyways Good JOB MAN!
I'm all for originality but remanufacturing a three skinned rust trap when no self respecting car enthusiast would use such a horrible jacking point. I can't see the point. Use a jack under a suspension mount or arm for heaven's sake. I never replaced the horrible jacking points on MGBs etc as they were rot traps and surplus to requirements. You'll have to flood the back of the sills with thin oil to make sure it gets between all those layers of metal because condensation certainly will when the car sleeps outside in our misty/moisty atmosphere.
I fully agree. Some good work, but I also won't replace jacking points on my project car. Also, I will not put a seam sealer on the inside of the arch, as it takes away the possibility of pouring a capillary rust prohibitor in between those layers. It looks to me the sealer creates and ideal place for moisture to collect and hide the nasty work it will do.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if, was YCR doing the car for themselves, they might do exactly what you suggested. I think what’s happening here is a showcasing of the art of the possible, as an advertisement of the attention to detail and capabilities of the restoration company. While it’s arguably not worth it with this BMW, it would be with a vintage Ferrari or Jaguar, where the owner feels an obligation to the future to have repairs remanufactured to original. Just my 2c worth of guessing!
The attention to detail and craftsmanship displayed is such a massive contrast to Auto Alex and his absolute bodges when he does things to his cars himself 😂
No matter how many times we watch you recreate these cars,it is just mind-blowing. Absolute master class 👏
I’ve really enjoyed this so far.
The work that goes into fabricating new pieces etc is very impressive. It’s easy to see what these restorations are expensive.
So glad you made the decision to do this full time, I hope you are too. Really enjoying the regular videos. 👍
These videos are soooo cool !!
The celebrities restoring the abused luxury cars of other celebrities.
Keep them coming !!
Roger is a gift that keeps on giving 😂. Amazing handiwork as always
One of the most impressive videos I’ve watched to date. What a talent. Fantastic young man!
Loving your work! I could watch this for hours. In fact this week i have binge watched Alexs car and Colins car so far
Some serious skills on show here. Love watching these videos. Awesome job.
I think I've finally figured it out, I'm sure now that I'm here 40% for the engineering expertise, and 60% for a chill-out session 😁. Unreal is a sweet tune.
Ryan, NUT!
👍😉🇬🇧
Word
16:59 that "I'm proud of that" smile and nod. So you f***ing should, excellent work Mr!!!
Great choice of music
Brilliant Craftsmanship

Such meticulous work. Respect.
Great work as always, keep the content coming 👍
That is quite a panel you made. Excellent
Its a joy to watch you make those parts Ryan..you sure have gotten the best of skills buddy..hope you guys are staying warm its in the twenties here and going to be down below zero and giving a snow ❄️ accumulations for next week i dreading it..take care and God bless im a little behind on video's but im going to catch up tonight.
very impressive piece of fabrication👍
Some of your most intricate fabrication yet Ryan! Love how this is coming together. Would I be correct to assume that you were using thicker steel for the jacking point? Would be interesting to know speed and voltage when you are welding.
уважаю людей с золотыми руками. человек труда - самый прогрессивный в мире.
this is peak craftsmanship, well done! lookin forward to the next part
Excellent work Ryan! I also can’t wait for ‘Ultra Uncles’ John and Richard to start the Audi Quattro tear down. Loving the channel.
This is real art. 🖤 What about Colin's E30? I look forward to the next part (or has it completely disintegrated to rusty pieces 😉?).
Greetings from Germany,
Marcus
Top shelf work again, you have the patience of a saint.
Nice work Ryan. Keep em coming lad.
bloddy amazing work rian !!!
And again great video. Ryan in love with the details. Great pleasure to watch. Best regards from Germany
Amazing, what an effort1! This man is genius.
This is why it’s worth spending as much money as possible on a car which doesn’t need welding. Involved, even when you have the skills and facilities to repair them. Fair play to you, I don’t think I’d have the patience for it!
Fantastic work once again!
Like uncle benny in lethal weapon 4 said, bloody marvellous
Phenomenal skills
Haha you kept saying you were welding a bolt to the jacking point. But it's actually a Nut, I do this type of thing all the time!
Who else comes for the mad skillz, but stays for the music :)
Fantastic work!
wow lots of work but looking good
awesome
Thanks for the video.
very nice
Masterpiece!!!!👏👏👏👏

that was some job -- very very good .
A masterpiece.
Great video, good progress, your killing it with your talent.keep doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Surprised with the amount of rust by the jacking points and where the hex bolts go for the subframe bush brackets
Fab work again Ryan I want one of your hates please how do I order one thanks

cant wait for the next bmw rolling in the shop asa little bird told me its automatic and yellow/orange
Pretty sure Phil was supposed to be done first then the e30 but he's decided to do the e30 first
As i understood from Alex's videos the MX5 will be in the shop when the E30 is done.
Reassembling a car from backward to forward with inverted body panels being created in reverse-time…. Freakin’ time bending stuff!
May we ask how many hours that corner has taken ?
So, no rotisserie for roger?
So glad I don't live in the UK anymore and have to deal with a climate that trashes vehicles.
Rust killed off more.than one of my cars back in the day, even when they were still mechanically sound.
Ryan is Wolverine.
just a quick one ryan its a nut not a bolt. great work though
Timestamp 18:10, totally heard and I quote "a nice big bead of seamen"! Did Ryan say seamen or sealant, you decide 🤣😂😀
it's getting there, Roger's poor bottom getting sorted
here's an idea....
make that 3D jigsaw puzzle again. then just build out from there with more sheet metal until there's a whole car.
2:16 "is a bolt(nut)" :D
Another masterpiece of metal bashing Ryan. Just wondering, don't know if you've ever watched the "Restore It" YT channel, but he found somewhere (in Scandinavia maybe?) that was re-manufacturing a lot of the E30 panels that BMW have discontinued, may be worth a look?
Ryan please treat yourself to some new drill bits man😂😂😂
Your skills and work ethic is second to none, but I wouldn't like your electric bills, grinders welders etc 😳 how much?
will you (or Auto Alex) disclose in the end how many hours have been spent, as well as material cost? :D
🤘😎🤘
💪👍
lets gooo !!!!!!!!
I think that Ryan has actually been cloned and there are multiple Ryans working on all the cars: how else could he get so much done ?
Who is Auto Alex?
I'm starting to think, no matter how much you are charging AutoAlex, it's not enough.
He would have probably been better getting a better condition frame, acid dipping it, having you do your magic on it, then new paint and a full rebuild.
It's all FREE
@trangvurley2555 Free you say? Old out yer and!
I actually need a dent fixing on my car. I may have jacked it up at the wrong point when I got a puncture one night coming home from work and couldn't see what I was doing.

It is not a bolt! It's a nut. Otherwise great work.

Good night 😂
Is this not COMPOUNDING Auto Alex' Financial Mistake? 😉
I think you'll be surprised at YCRs TH-camr rates!
I'm all for originality but remanufacturing a three skinned rust trap when no self respecting car enthusiast would use such a horrible jacking point. I can't see the point. Dead right. Seam sealer harbours rust and deflects anti corrosion oils from where they do most good.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if, was YCR doing the car for themselves, they might do exactly what you suggested.

Reminder to self, don't buy a E30.. you really can't afford it.
PLS mate shawe your face :)
please do away with the stupid music, ruins a good program
