Nice video as always. Having an English wheel really does open up a whole new world of creativity. You will be shocked what you can do once you master it.
I had to take a double take. Didn't we do this Wednesday..🤔..? Guys don't get sick of tools. If any guy has had his ole lady say "you're watching a show about tools".? Yep.! Great show Kyle.
Yes , I need a lot more tools , and I need a bigger place to put them in too , but all the "you need this " videos , have tools I would really like to get , and some I may already have just picked up a power probe for my Christmas present , but my wife wrapped it and I have to wait till Christmas .. lol but that's ok as always another good video sir , and hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year .
Anyone used the $300 wheel from the Harbor Freight? I assume the dies would wear fast and assume the frame is a bit flimsy, but I’ve wondered if it could be a decent budget tool for the weekend warrior with a little bit of reinforcing? I’ll probably never do enough English Wheel work to make it pay its way, but it’s a tool that I don’t have and I want them all. I don’t imagine you could build one for less than $300. The dies alone would probably set you back that much if the frame was free.
There are a lot of videos out there on the Harbor Freight and the numerous upgrades needed to make it decent. Metal Ace has a nice 22 inch wheel for the beginner for $750.
