Awesome! Such a nice video of a mom and daughter crafting together! Great job and the tip on the flame is very helpful and it helped to know of the other resin. I have done some resin but not a lot and this was very helpful so thank you both so much!! Take care and have a great day!!❤
Such a lovely tutorial. You mum is awesome! I remember my mum getting me into crafting when she taught me to knit and crochet when I was really small. It’s brilliant that you get on so well together and make such gorgeous jewellery. I can’t wait to try resin work now. Thank you so much for a very instructive and entertaining tutorial! Fabulous 😎🌼🩷
That was fun! At first I thought Lauren's sister was visiting. Nope, Lauren's Mom. Beautiful ladies! Resin opens up a new direction in beading. Pretty leaves and flowers from the yard, add a bit of extra fine glitter and you have a one-of-a-kind focal piece. I have ordered so many antique bronze findings from BBB, this will be a great way to utilize some of them. My last order will probably arrive Saturday or Monday. I need to start walking the property so I can process the leaves.
@joannecalderwoodboudreau7228 I'm interested in anything! I find it so fascinating. Would love to work with it, but not sure I'm ready for another hobby yet. 😆
Thanks for showing this fun beautiful jewelry creations with me. I've take a resin class. But haven't done it in years. Thanks for the brush up on this. I can't wait to get some supplies and give this a try on my own. Thanks ladies 😊
My problem is that when I peel off the tape there always a lot of sticky on the back. Big clumps of it. I've even bought more from a different source, same thing.
Thank you. I've thought about resin, but afraid of it. I had trouble with resin pieces I bought turning yellow. Has your mom had any problems with this over time?
I've had some issues with the resin tape sticking sometimes as well. I've found that using a q-tip speed in rubbing alcohol will remove it from the resin piece I'm working on. :) I prefer the green resin tape over the blue stuff too. Hope this helps!
I haven't had issues with yellowing of resin over time, but I've only been doing this for almost 2 years. I use Let's Resin hard type resin for jewelry.
What a fun time. Thanks mom.
I love the happy mutual admiration society! 🌼 🌼 🌼 🌼

Adorable! Unfortunately I placed an order just before watching this, so I need to wait until my next order to get the rings. 😊
We've got a good number in stock at the moment, no worries!

I will ask my mom if she has any recommendations!
