The fact that he was being compared to aguero in the first season says it all. He is 6’4, he isn’t made for dribbling round players. He is made for powerful sprinting and shooting. Call him a tap in merchant all you like but the fact that a 6’4 player can make room that easy in a tight box is incredible. We haven’t even seen the best of him. He thrives when he is running towards a defender and 1v1’s. The Man City we see is passing around the edge of the box and not much else.

Only about 15-16% of goals are scored from outside the box by ALL players, let alone strikers.
The "tap in merchant" label that gets put on strikers, including all time greats such as Romario, Gerd Muller, Lewandowski, Shearer, and Aguero, is almost always from rival fans. It's a ridiculous label since anyone in their right mind would want those players on their team.
