This movie is the definition of the word "masterpiece". Everything about it works perfectly. The conflict between Hiccup and Stoick is handled very well, the bonding between Hiccup and Toothless is perfectly paced, I love how much Toothless acts like a cat, and how all the dragons act like real animals, and the musical score and flying scenes are absolutely beautiful. I cannot give this movie enough praise.
I love how Toothless teaches the importance of say sorry When he was flying with Astrid he didn’t chill until she apologized, the same with Stoic, he didn’t show Hiccup to him until he apologized to him
Answers to your questions/comments made in the video: - About their accents: the cast have joked that the kids of Berk did an exchange program for a year or two in North America, which is why they all have American/Canadian accents lol. - The teens talking about wanting to get some scarring - it would be a physical display of how brave they are. Vikings are warriors, so to have scarring suggests you've seen combat and lived to tell the tale. - Toothless was VERY good at flying before he lost his tail fin; he was knocking down those pillars with his fire, known as plasma blasts, and then quickly flying away. - So, a lot of the dragons Hiccup looks at in the Book of Dragons don't get appearances (or at least proper appearances, one or two get little cameos) in the movies; however, they are seen in more detail in the tv show. Pretty sure all of the ones Hiccup looked at were featured in the tv show, actually. The only exceptions are the main dragons in this movie (e.g. Night Fury, Gronckle, Hideous Zippleback) and the Boneknapper Dragon, which was featured in the short movie Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon. - I will put info about the tv series and the short movies in a reply to this comment. - You're one of the only reactors (or group of reactors) I've seen that realised Toothless drew Hiccup. It was a little . . . abstract, but it was meant to be him XD - It isn't just that dragons dislike eels. The tv show reveals why dragons avoid eels so much; without spoiling too much, just in case you want to watch the series at some point, eels make them unwell. - Yeah, Astrid's frustration is part jealousy and part confusion/disbelief at how he suddenly got so good while seemingly not even putting the effort in. She's been training for this for YEARS, and seemingly overnight Hiccup is just an expert at "fighting" dragons. I've seen people criticise her for changing her tune just because they went on that romantic flight, but that was only part of it; she finally understood how Hiccup improved so jarringly, she had answers, and her eyes were opened to how dragons truly were.
Short movies: - Gift of the Night Fury, Book of Dragons, Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon - 3 short movies, all set at some point shortly after movie 1. - Dawn of the Dragon Racers - set a few years after movie 1 and a couple years before movie 2. - Homecoming - set during movie 3. TV series: - Riders of Berk - set shortly after movie 1. - Defenders of Berk - set directly after Riders, known as season 2 of Riders. - Race to the Edge - set during the couple of years before movie 2. There are also another couple of series, but they weren't as well received: Rescue Riders, which seems to be a slightly different universe where dragons can talk, it was their attempt to get a younger viewership; and The Nine Realms, which is widely regarded as just a not so great show (I don't personally mind it and have been watching, but I can understand why others dislike it), it's set 1300 years after the events of the original series. If you only watch one of these, I strongly recommend at least watching Gift of the Night Fury. a) it's just a nice little movie itself, and b) its events are briefly referenced to in movie 3.
I haven't watched the show, but it would actually make a lot of sense for dragons to have a hard time eating eels considering their skeletons. In case you didn't know, eel skeletons are basically hundreds of needle-like spines running the length of their backbone. It would rip up anything's stomach.
Can we just talk about how Hiccup made a perfectly proportioned tail fin seemingly without taking any measurements, just like from memory. (Well I suppose he could have gone back the next day and made the tail the next night, but the way it's shown in the movie it seems like it's continuous)
@@kingslayer83 I shall not speak that name, as it may summon The Dreadful Gods of Degenaracy, but I hope this clue will suffice: the one that's set in a modern timeline.
Even though it's unlikely, I strongly recommend watching the three TV series before the second movie. It completely fleshes out and and explains everything you need to know, so you don't have to spend the whole second movie going 'wait, what is that' or 'wait, when did that happen'. It is a case where movie and TV continuity are in sync, and makes it one of the best fictional world-building franchises ever.
YES. THIS. And the third movie too, at least emotionally, worked as much as it did bc of the series. Just the general context of how the time between the movies was spent and everything they’ve gone through together.
This movie has so many amazing elements but i love that stoick saying hes proud of hiccup meant so much more because it happened before the final fight instead of after
Nice video, it’s always cool to see what ppl think of this movie. I’ve seen it so many times but I just realized something. When Astrid first saw Toothless, she tried to protect Hiccup. They were way out in the woods, she could have let him get killed. If she did, then she could be the one to kill the monstrous nightmare. She may seem annoying from the audience’s perspective but she is a good person. Like you said, she was just mad bc she was putting in a lot of work and to her it seemed like Hiccup was cheating or something.
Nah she only seems annoying to people who completely miss the point of the movie. Dragons aren't harmless innocent little beans, they are *extremely* dangerous (as the rest of the trilogy continues to show) and a giant threat to the Vikings' lives and livelihoods. Gobber isn't training the kids for fun, neither are Stoick and crew sailing out to look for the dragons' nest because they have nothing better to do. Astrid isn't training as hard as she is so she can kill the monstrous nightmare like it's just some dumbass graduation ceremony, she is preparing for what would have been a violent conflict lasting her *entire life*. They are training PRECISELY so that they can protect each other the way she tries to protect Hiccup in that scene. It's actually really silly how people get so stuck in Hiccup's POV and the thrill of flying a dragon that they somehow completely forget key scenes in the movie like Gobber talking about how he's literally lost limbs to the dragons or the opening scene establishing that they are attacked by dragons so often that they have to keep rebuilding their village. Gobber's disability isn't any less real because he jokes around a lot.
@@theamazingspooderman2697 the dragons weren't trying to defend themselves from the vikings, the dragons were *raiding the Vikings' village, destroying their homes, and carrying off their food*. Granted they were doing all that because of the Red Death, but that doesn't change the effect it's had on the Vikings. It's so dumb because the vast majority of people who think Astrid is just being annoying for no reason would be (rightly) terrified if e.g. a hungry bear broke into their house and started rooting around for food. And bears don't even fly or spit fire!
People sleep on that Astrid scene tbh. I love thinking about it from her perspective; like, she literally says "Get down!" which we've only heard the Vikings say in reference to Night Furies specifically. We also know she's already read the dragon manual. And we can assume everyone knows what Gobber tells Hiccup: no one has ever met a Night Fury and lived to tell the tale. So when Astrid tells Hiccup to run, she very likely assumes she's about to die, because here's this dragon she's never seen before, therefore it MUST be a Night Fury, and no one survives an encounter with those. But she still tries to protect Hiccup because he's weaker, he definitely wouldn't survive a fight, but if she can buy him some time maybe he can get to safety before it starts to chase him as well. All the frustration and annoyance she has with him melts away in an instant, and none of it matters anymore because protecting her fellow Viking is much more important. This is quite literally what she's been training so hard to do, and she doesn't let her personal feelings get in the way of that, even if it means she might die. Astrid ftw
I'll never understand why so many reactors think at first that Toothless can't fly well and so was an outcast as well. I mean, did you not see that first part where he was a totally badass dragon that was destroying entire structures with a single plasma blast?
You have arrived on one of the greatest trilogies of all time!! My personal favourites are the 2nd and 3rd one, but they're all so unique and fun to watch! Definitely recommended to watch the sequels aswell!!
I was very impressed that you anticipated the ending the the 'They complete each other' comment so early in the movie! Maybe not quite the way you anticipated it, but you nailed the theme really well!
15:18 You should watch How to train your dragons race to the edge! Not only does it give more insight on what happens between the end of this movie and the second but it also shows you all of these dragons!
Okay so, from 18:41 to 21:15 seeing how genuinely happy toothless makes Faxityy, no joke just moved me. You have such a pure soul man. Hope you stay well. 😊
I will always love this movie. Among the many, many reasons, it has these echoes from one character to another. That shot with Hiccup with his prosthetic leg leaning on Toothless with his wounded tail calls attention to the bond they have now. In the same way, Gobber points out that Hiccup and his dad are both "boar-headed, stubborn vikings." Bringing it all together, the three of them are leaders. They stand up when everyone else is running away. When Astrid says "he's up" and "go" in the final fight, she's not just narrating what's happening. She's saying "look at Hiccup. He's in charge here. He's worthy of your respect." Speaking of Astrid, just think about how badly she wanted to be in charge before and how much it means that she acknowledged and encouraged Hiccup. It's perfect, particularly because she was the only one who could help him in the darkest hour. After Toothless was revealed to the village, Hiccup's social standing was in the negatives again, not to mention his confidence. Astrid was the one to get him back on his feet, and she had to have been the one to convince the rest of the trainees to help, and I love that they made me believe she would after everything else.
Congrats fellas, For you have just begun to witness the beginning one of DreamWorks greatest film franchises!!! The first HTTYD film is an absolute classic, Especially because of the music "Forbidden Friendship" and "Test Drive" are the first films most iconic soundtracks!!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it after this you should watch the TV series cause it opens up the world as well as discovering more unique and crazy dragons most you'll only see in great detail in the show( everyone remembers the giant white chainsaw Gatling gun dragon? 😨 The writers for that one were on crack for that one) character development for both Hiccup's group and the village itself. I promise you will enjoy it greatly and it will add to so much in the second and third movie in my opinion
You guys should totally watch the shows! They show you a bunch of interesting lore and cool dragons! I do recommend you watch the shows BEFORE the 2nd movie, but you don't really have too. The movies don't really take much from the shows, so you can watch them without getting lost. There will be a few lore drops and references you probably won't get though. All the series take place after the 1st movie, but before the 2nd. If I remember correctly the watch order is Book of Dragons, then Riders of Berk, then Defenders of Berk, and finally Race to the Edge.
I just had to say I found your respective reactions to Stoick disowning Hiccup very interesting. Most reactors don't even get that from 'You're not my son'. And your reactions to that were very different!
Best trilogy ever fr!! Cant wait for your reactions to the other movies (and the series if you watch those!) Also yes, stoick did say "your not my son" but technically hiccup did say "im not one of them" he practically disowned himself from his entire village. And the more sad part is that when hiccup threw the helment down it was the memory of his mother :( Another cool fact is that stoick didnt wait till after hiccup defeated the red death (the big queen), instead he said it BEFORE.
YESSS!!! This movie was like my childhood favorite and lemme tell you it did NOT change. The entire trilogy is so good and the music score is just *chef's kiss*. The TV series is fun too.
Genuinely still one of my top 5 in-theater movie moments ever, when Hiccup tosses the sheet and just “it’s go time, do or die” and the MUSIC, man John goddamn Powell “Test Drive but just the music” is a perfect video here on TH-cam showing how you can line a scene to a theme second for second
In this movie, Astride literally represented all of us girls who crave for academic validation yet ends up being the second to someone that doesn't put the effort as we do. Maybe they do, in their own way but it's sometimes frustrating. We don't hate them. In fact we admire them. Unfortunately we show it in a very passive aggressive way.
Astrid really reminds me of Hermione from Harry Potter.. They strive really hard to be the best, and it just frustrates them when someone excel better than them without putting at least the same amount of effort as they did..
Besides there being 2 more movies (a total of 3); there's also multiple short movies (a total of 5) of which 4 happen before the 2nd movie and 1 happens after movie 3. And, to top it all off; There's also a cannon series of 8 seasons long (total of 118 episodes). If you're going to react to all the movies, I also highly recommend to at least watch 2 out of 3 short movies that play before the 2nd movie, before watching the 2nd one. The 2 short movies in question being; - Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon (16 minute special) - Gift of the Night Fury (22 minute special) And to at least give the series a try, because it is amazing and even though the 8 seasons play between movie 1 and 2, you won't have to watch the series before watching the 2nd movie or third for that matter. The last episode of season 8 DOES end on an event which is a set-up for movie 2, but it isnt needed to understand what's happening in movie 2. The series in question being named; - Riders of Berk (season 1) - Defenders of Berk (season 2) - Race to the Edge (season 3 to 8)
15:14 Unfortunately no , you'll have to see it for yourselves in the TV Series side of things 👍 which are a combined total of 8 Seasons total , its also a perfect bridge in terms of story gap and the drastic changes that will be shown when you guys eventually watch "How To Train Your Dragon 2" as the TV Series takes place between this first film and the second one ❤👍 -Dragons: Riders of Berk (2012) - Cartoon Network. (Season 1) -Dragons: Defenders of Berk (2013) -Cartoon Network (Season 2) -Dragons: Dawn of the Dragon Racers (2014) - Short Film (I believed this one is bundled with a physical Blu-Ray copy of "How To Train Your Dragon 2" i only found out recently about it😂) -Dragons: Race to the Edge (2015-2018) - Netflix (Seasons 3-8)
I an so glad you enjoyed the movie i can’t wait till you see the whole trilogy i would recommend the HTTYD tv series hears the order of all HTTYD movies and tv show’s “spoilers below” HTTYD 1 Book of Dragons Legend of the bonekapper dragon HTTYD Gift of the night Fury HTTYD Riders of Berk HTTYD Defenders of Berk HTTYD Dawn of the dragon Racers HTTYD Race to the Edge HTTYD 2 HTTYD 3 HTTYD Homecoming
there is 2 tv show between the 1st movie and the second. the 1st is Dragon riders of berg, the 2nd is the race to the edge it gives more lore and worldbuilding
35:10 i say this so genuinely, theres beauty in nature wherever you are, if youre able bodied you can find gorgeous spots in places youd never think with a google search, maybe a car or bus ride, and some walking. and if you get used to just finding a spot and sitting for a while taking it all in youll also find it easier to see the beauty in everyday places
this is my favourite movie of all time. there are better movies, with more complex and intriguing stories, more up to date animation, and overall masterpieces, but this one… it has a special place in my heart, and it’ll probably always have it.
Toothless could fly perfectly fine. he didn’t crash into things, not sure where u got that from, he was injured after being shot down by hiccup; which is why the left side of his tail fin is missing.
There is a show called race to the edge that takes place between the first and second movie for this.. that actually goes into way better detail about the different types of dragons. I highly recommend it!!😊
One of the top reasons that I love this trilogy is that there are real consequences and changes in the character's lives, Hiccup losing a leg in this one, and... uh no spoilers but anyone who's seen the second one knows what happens there. It also shows in how the characters distinctly grow both mentally and physically. We see many of the character become more confident and capable over time. I think that the shows modeled that growth best but it pays off in the movies.
It’s not spoiled technically You won’t see that much dragons from the book in the movies. There is a show with 4 seasons after the first movie. Then there is a show called race to the Edge that leads into the second movie. I know your watching just the trilogy but I’m just giving you the info so if your questioning something in the second movie you would know.
I don't get why people are annoyed Stoick stopped the fight. Would you let your child walk towards what you consider a vicious animal, without any shield or weapons? People are only coming from the view of Hiccup, if you were watching from Stoick's view the entire time you'd be thinking like him
Can’t say how many times I’ve watched this and it’s only just this second that I’ve noticed: “I just want to be one of you guys.” Becomes at the dragon killing ceremony: “I’m NOT one of them!”
Before watching httyd 2 first watch the bone knapper then the book of dragons then riders of berk then protectors of berk then drafons race to the edge cuz it will give you more context for httyd 2
This maybe late but you should definitely do the series there is httyd riders of berk and defenders of berk and race to the edge they take place after first movie before second movie they show amazing dragons (like thunder drum whispering death etc) and villains and alot of hiccup and astrid and how they got engaged
when hiccup was falling toothless tried to grab him by the leg but toothless had put so much pressure that hiccup's leg came off that's why he lost his leg so technically they're even now
After y'all watch the movies, you guys should watch the tv series'. There's a lot of character development in Riders/Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge has some of the best Villains of the franchise, including a fan favorite(for good reason). The franchise is great and I hope y'all enjoy the rest of it like you seemed to have enjoyed this!
We had a play at my school for my grade that involved animalistic noises and everyone nominated me cuz I had memorized most of, if not all of the dragon sounds in this trilogy So ya😂
a lot of reactors have forced hate to astrid in the first movie like these are children who were taught to kill a dragon or be killed since they're born. you can't expect her to just accept it in 20 mins of the movie lol. there's what you called a "character arc". actually, her accepting the idea of training a dragon was so quick.

Bottom guy yeah, top guy was a bit of a knob
Okay the guy on top (I'm sorry I forgot his name) reaction to Toothless acting like a cat and being cute is the most adorable thing ever.
Best trilogy ever fr!!
Cant wait for your reactions to the other movies (and the series if you watch those!)
Also yes, stoick did say "your not my son" but technically hiccup did say "im not one of them" he practically disowned himself from his entire village. And the more sad part is that when hiccup threw the helment down it was the memory of his mother :(
Another cool fact is that stoick didnt wait till after hiccup defeated the red death (the big queen), instead he said it BEFORE.
@Anonymous Gamer333 I already watch him :)
7:08 that because he dont have his left leg and he think the trolls steal the left socks, but he actually dont wear one😂😂
YESSS!!! This movie was like my childhood favorite and lemme tell you it did NOT change. The entire trilogy is so good and the music score is just *chef's kiss*. The TV series is fun too.
Genuinely still one of my top 5 in-theater movie moments ever, when Hiccup tosses the sheet and just “it’s go time, do or die” and the MUSIC, man
John goddamn Powell
“Test Drive but just the music” is a perfect video here on TH-cam showing how you can line a scene to a theme second for second
They strive really hard to be the best, and it just frustrates them when someone excel better than them without putting at least the same amount of effort as they did..
im telling u this is the best movie you will ever watch in your whole entire life
This movie holds a special place close to my heart. It makes me tear up when seeing it all the time. Def my favorite animated trilogy for sure.
Besides there being 2 more movies (a total of 3);
there's also multiple short movies (a total of 5) of which 4 happen before the 2nd movie and 1 happens after movie 3.
And, to top it all off;
There's also a cannon series of 8 seasons long (total of 118 episodes).
If you're going to react to all the movies, I also highly recommend to at least watch 2 out of 3 short movies that play before the 2nd movie, before watching the 2nd one.
The 2 short movies in question being;
- Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon (16 minute special)
- Gift of the Night Fury (22 minute special)
And to at least give the series a try, because it is amazing and even though the 8 seasons play between movie 1 and 2, you won't have to watch the series before watching the 2nd movie or third for that matter.
The last episode of season 8 DOES end on an event which is a set-up for movie 2, but it isnt needed to understand what's happening in movie 2.
The series in question being named;
- Riders of Berk (season 1)
- Defenders of Berk (season 2)
- Race to the Edge (season 3 to 8)
15:14 Unfortunately no , you'll have to see it for yourselves in the TV Series side of things 👍 which are a combined total of 8 Seasons total , its also a perfect bridge in terms of story gap and the drastic changes that will be shown when you guys eventually watch "How To Train Your Dragon 2" as the TV Series takes place between this first film and the second one ❤👍
-Dragons: Riders of Berk (2012) - Cartoon Network. (Season 1)
-Dragons: Defenders of Berk (2013) -Cartoon Network (Season 2)
-Dragons: Dawn of the Dragon Racers (2014) - Short Film (I believed this one is bundled with a physical Blu-Ray copy of "How To Train Your Dragon 2" i only found out recently about it😂)
-Dragons: Race to the Edge (2015-2018) - Netflix (Seasons 3-8)
I an so glad you enjoyed the movie i can’t wait till you see the whole trilogy i would recommend the HTTYD tv series hears the order of all HTTYD movies and tv show’s “spoilers below”
HTTYD 1
Book of Dragons
Legend of the bonekapper dragon
HTTYD Gift of the night Fury
HTTYD Riders of Berk
HTTYD Defenders of Berk
HTTYD Dawn of the dragon Racers
HTTYD Race to the Edge
HTTYD 2
HTTYD 3
HTTYD Homecoming
fun fact they based toothless after cats for the movments and some other stuff
Best Trilogy, loved every movie.
I absolutely love this movie, I'd easily place it in my top 10 of all time, but the second one makes the top 5.
Yes! Yes! One of the best trilogies in my whole life! Sorry for my English 😅
the music of the trilogy is some of the best i've seen, especially in a childrens movie. truly beautiful
there is 2 tv show between the 1st movie and the second. the 1st is Dragon riders of berg, the 2nd is the race to the edge it gives more lore and worldbuilding
I love this movie! Definitely a classic.
this is my favourite movie of all time. there are better movies, with more complex and intriguing stories, more up to date animation, and overall masterpieces, but this one… it has a special place in my heart, and it’ll probably always have it.
Toothless could fly perfectly fine. he didn’t crash into things, not sure where u got that from, he was injured after being shot down by hiccup; which is why the left side of his tail fin is missing.
Reacting to way more stuff than just anime was a great choice. I've been enjoying their content a lot more since the change :)
15:15 you could see some of them in the series and specials films
There's more, it was planned to have 6 and the 4rth is coming soon
15:20 many show up in the shows, riders of Berk and race to the edge. Taking place between Httyd 1 and 2.
to this day I get goosebumps after hearing "Test Drive"
27:49 this is the best moments in HTTYD
Welcome to one of the best movie trilogies out there! You're in for a ride.
U understood wrong haha, when Hiccup was trying to kill him Toothless tried to beg him not to do it but then just accepted his "fate" ( death)
this movie makes me so emotional every time
I don't get why people are annoyed Stoick stopped the fight. Would you let your child walk towards what you consider a vicious animal, without any shield or weapons? People are only coming from the view of Hiccup, if you were watching from Stoick's view the entire time you'd be thinking like him
Can’t say how many times I’ve watched this and it’s only just this second that I’ve noticed:
“I just want to be one of you guys.”
Becomes at the dragon killing ceremony:
“I’m NOT one of them!”
the dragons are like a mix of dogs and cats lol.
30:04 AND I OOP
REMEMBER THIS COMMENT WHEN YOU WATCH THE WHOLE TRILOGY
This movie is my favorite film of all time
I like dragons, i literally rewatch these trilogies many times i even post on my tiktok 😂
Anyway igneel is about bigger slight on that big dragon. 😂
I really like the trilogy. There is a live action version of the movie in development , really looking forward to that.
You're definitely gonna cry at the end of part 3. 😅 its sooooo sooooo sad
these movies are AMAZING. great reaction!! i hope you get to the sequels! (already left my like ;)
Everyone, just admit it. You've all wanted to have Toothless for a pet.
That note yall hit on the ohhhhh was cool lol
oh MY GOD youuu guys reacted to thissssss... i willl love to watch ur reaction guys.. can't wait to see the next 2 movies!!!!
Respect to the man at top left. Bro is the voice of my mind. He is reading my mind, and saying exactly the same i want to say.
Before watching httyd 2 first watch the bone knapper then the book of dragons then riders of berk then protectors of berk then drafons race to the edge cuz it will give you more context for httyd 2
the dragons on the manual are mostly shown in the series, but we do see new and cool dragons on the other movies
there is a series that happens between the first and second movie in which they show more dragons
Wish I had the money for a pateron sub. This is one of my favorite series, even watched the Tv show, glad you both are watching it.
Ay! You hit your like goal!
The Red Death has a semi-mindcontrol roar.
Just so you guys know, there's an animated series for this, set between the movies.^_^
This movies soundtrack is S+Tier
This is one of my top favs animation movie ever. I still treasure this story till now😭👑. I have all their movies. 1-3.
Toothless is just a big puppy
GOATED trilogy!!!
This is honestly a top 5 movie of all time for me.
Theres also a tv series with several seasons
When will the other movies reaction be out ? I'm eager to watch your reaction
This show is GREAT
YES YES YES YES YES, THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
i’m pretty sure toothless was inspired by a cat!
This maybe late but you should definitely do the series there is httyd riders of berk and defenders of berk and race to the edge they take place after first movie before second movie they show amazing dragons (like thunder drum whispering death etc) and villains and alot of hiccup and astrid and how they got engaged
My Biggest Flex Is That I Saw This Movie In The Cinemas When I Was Like 5 💅🏻✨
One of the best trilogy
when hiccup was falling toothless tried to grab him by the leg but toothless had put so much pressure that hiccup's leg came off
that's why he lost his leg
so technically they're even now
35:14 - You can see that in The Adirondacks in NY 😂….. Money needed $0
This movie has a tv show were it shows most of the dragons there on the book
its time for: "Riders of Berk" after this "Defenders of Berk" next will be "Race to the Edge" and at the end there will be movie 2 and movie 3 :D
If u want to see all the dragons and have a good story u guys should watch the show dragons edge
The northern lights are viewable from many points in the world
15:19 u see all of them in the TV series not the movies.. aint got enough run time for that
i even watched the nine seasons!!!
Watch the series before the 2nd movie or at least the third
Dude my childhood past Infront of my eyes 🥹🥹🥹
We had a play at my school for my grade that involved animalistic noises and everyone nominated me cuz I had memorized most of, if not all of the dragon sounds in this trilogy
So ya😂
a lot of reactors have forced hate to astrid in the first movie like these are children who were taught to kill a dragon or be killed since they're born. you can't expect her to just accept it in 20 mins of the movie lol. there's what you called a "character arc". actually, her accepting the idea of training a dragon was so quick.
BEST. TRILOGY. EVER.
