In my very humble opinion, this is the best ballad ever arranged. Killer singin' as always.
My mind is blown. The unisons?!?! And that pause after "drunk" was just?!?!! INSANE?!?!?! I can't even function after this one. Topnotch quality is expected at this point, Tim, yet you somehow exceed expectations every single video. Well played, sir.
You did it. You actually made me cry in this one. Man... Tim you are truly a gem. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.
I think I'm more impressed by his ability to hit low notes rather than high notes.
His low tones are gorgeous.
Ed Waesche just knows how to make parts feel singable. Like the bass basically has his own melody
A BSU classic to help with the international hangover? Thank you Tim and congrats to VS on the hall of fame induction 🙌
This song was the closest thing Karen Carpenter ever sang to a Tin Pan Alley song---and I never expected to hear her version matched. You *might* have surpassed it. *Beautiful*
I love Karen Carpenter but I definitely feel Tim sang this song better than she did. (Also better than BSU, as well.). This is just crazy beautiful.
@@4Topwood Gotta ask: who is BSU?
@@kohashiguchi1454Bluegrass Student Union. Tim sang this in their honor. Their version is on TH-cam. They're excellent. But Tim's version just has so much more heart. I'd love for you to take a listen to them and see if you agree.
This is so pretty
Wow. Simply Wow. I first heard this arrangement at a district Harmony College in Atlanta, and have wanted to hear it again. You finally made my day! Thank you, Tim! Beautiful job!
Ooh, that's a fun and challenging chromatic piece!
You Dude are a dream come true for real. Thank you so much for your music bear buddy
Thanks for sharing the full song, incredible ring at the end!!
You truly are the G.O.A.T. 🌟
The Carpenters' luxurious version of this love-unrequited song has been my all time favourite song for 50 years. I'm so glad you have done this - I've wanted to hear it in barbershop form for so long - magical.
You have the prettiest voice a human can produce. So smooth, so damn good. So jealous!
I just got broken up with this past Monday and no song could have been a better fit! Beautiful work!!
Beautiful - love every single thing you do! 💞
Absolutely stunning!!! Thank you Tim! Always making me cry, laugh and get goosebumps! Thank you for everything! Love you!!
Ed definitely knew where to put the dots!!! You definitely know how to sing them. Beautiful, Tim!
Knew that Bluegrass CD (or was it a cassette?) by heart, still my favorite of all time. Thanks for the memories. Beautifully done.
Congrats to VS, the HALL of FAMER’s! You guys deserve it, all you do is get better! 😅 great tag, and it was awesome to watch you during the AIC show. Unfortunately I couldn’t be there in person but I bought the live stream, and it was worth it! 💈 🎤 🎶
Holy smokes. Just amazing.
WOW seriously this has got to be one of my favorites yet! Thanks for blessing us as always Tim!
Bro, i have to be dreaming. This can’t be done in the real world, so it has to be a dream. But…… I’d never wanna wake up! ❤
Simply fabulous!! One of my all time favorites. Chords for days!! I could listen to this all day long.
That unison at the start is enough for me to go to bed happy. Thanks for uploading, Tim!
Take my sub and all my likes. Holy crap you are god damn talent. Every song makes me tear up. I am 37 and only cry during Up so good for you!
Excellent performance of one of my favorite ballads and arrangements. I like the way you utilized the large hall reverb to re-create the sound of the famous Bluegrass Student Union performance. Well done!
Full body chills. You're really a master at this craft!
This is the best one you’ve done I think! I’ve been away for a few months, and finally got the barbershop itch and what a joy to come back to.
Chills, You are so flipping talented
How does Tim manage to make his F2 sound lower than my D2? Such incredible body and control!
❤So beautiful Tim!!❤ Congratulations again on your Hall of Fame Induction!!!😘
WOW! Felt like I was listening to BGSU cranking this GEM out right in front of me! Oh, the memories this makes me recall! Thanks so much, Tim!!!
Tim you slay me every time with your talent. Nothing better than barbershop chords!
I won't go into detail but, this one hits especially hard right now
Thank you Tim. Wonderful as always
Hope everything is ok 🙏
Can’t wait to watch all 100 in a row in a couple weeks!
the only bad thing about this is that this ends! i feel like i can loop this for 10 hours. nice work as usual, tim 🙌
Perfection!
Absolutely DAZZLING! I really wish that I had 3 other barbershop singers in my area! Tim, thanks again for rounding out my Tuesday!
Stunning as always, Tim! I hope you and Vocal Spectrum had fun at the AIC show. Keep it up!
Storm Front also has a nice version of this song
I haven’t heard this anywhere but BGSU ❤❤❤❤ Tim, it’s beyond Exquisite…as usual ❣️
Totally awesome as usual 😊
Another great rendition, Tim. I'm a harsh critic of modern barbershop because the timing, phrasing, arrangements, even the weird stage presence and odd gyrations of the singers of these great classic American songbook tunes, in no way follow the composer's intent for their songs. Quartets are going out of their way to add verses that don't exist, timing that doesn't fit the piece, and inserting highly unorthodox vocal phrasing that makes the song unrecognizable and, frankly, hard to listen to. You have, once again, hit the melody right on the head here, sang it to the composer's intent, in terms of both timing and expression, and it's highly listenable. Thanks for another really good barbershop treatment of this beautiful song. Well done.
One of my favorite BSU songs. Thanks Tim!
I sat next to the Hattons' parents at one of the Louisville conventions. In fact, I think that's where I first saw you performe, Tim 😎
Tim, this is one of my favorite BSU songs and you covered it just as beautifully as they performed it (maybe better!). Thanks for the reminiscence….
Bravo!
This arrangement is so fantastic and is only surpassed by your excellent execution. Only upon re-watching later did I appreciate just how much time, effort, and talent went into the production of this. I'm truly amazed.
I'm still wondering what planet my fellow AIC member comes from. These just doesn't seem possible that anyone can sing and blend, match vowels, be perfectly in sync, and still put that incredible emotion into every song he has put up. Brian Beck
Awesome!! Unbelievable!! So incredibly good!!
So good!!!
Exquisite !
So Beautifully sung !
I love this song so much. Great job Tim
Great! Great! Great! Need more!
Thanks for covering Tofu Concern’s first recorded song! So glad we could influence new barbershoppers like you, Tim!
Love the fact that you KNOW how to interpret the music in your own style, by slowing and adding dramatic pauses for effect! It really shows how much of a true musician you are, rather than just someone that goes straight off the sheet music!!! I wish to be as good of a musician as you during my musical career!!! ❤❤❤
Another mind imploding recording Tim 😂 thanks for more beautiful music
TIM! This is amazing!!!!
Great song and your voice
Beautiful 🙏
Awesome job Tim! Beautiful singing as always.
Nice. Wow is it real 45 years since BSU? What a great quartet, Ken is one of my favorite leads to ever walk the planet. Gosh I need to find a bunch o' lads and start a quartet again I am jonesin'. Awesome videos Tim! Bravo!
Amazing, as always :) (I would really love to hear you tag You’re Falling in Love that was performed by Midtown)

BARBERSHOP!
When is he gonna get back to me about singing with him? He commented almost 10 videos he would sing with me and hasn't gotten back to me since😢
On the other side of emotions, fantastic as always!
Thanks, Jacob! I look forward to singing with you when we’re both at a convention in the future!
