I think that The Devs reduced the swinging speed in tasm2 from tasm1 because the map felt smaller with that fast speed in tasm1.

Actually the combat in TASM1 is really cool, I used to memorize all the combos and I've bought all the combos.
I played them both but my opinion is
Tasm 1 has Better web swinging animation and better momentum great story
Tasm 2 better graphics suits boss

tasm 1 got more content and better gameplay
tasm2 got yuri and black cat
Tasm 2 also has more skins and an arena mode, better graphics too
Tasm 1 doesn't have more content bro wrong take, they glaze it because of the traversal mechanics and the combat, but tasm 2 has better voice acting, more boss battles, npc interactions, better graphics,
Tasm 1 has the ugliest things besides the traversal and combat but without all that the game just feels a lil void, I mean considering its from 2012, the game lacks enemies
Because there are only thugs, infected lizard police dudes, military men with bazookas, military men with electric thing sticks and most of them are very basic, and out of all the numerous boss battles you get ingame , the only boss you get in the game is the lizard
But nonetheless they are both good and they suck on their own terms
