I managed to vote on this and hen I was voting I picked some favorites of mine: Kingman, Kansas Wellington, Kansas Park City, Kansas Burlington, Vermont Looking back I would change some, but looks like Kansas is really good at city flags.

@@bohenry525 Agreed! The reasoning by NAVA was that flags included on their first survey back in the 2000s were not included. Which is why many big cities were not on this list. I think next time they need to include them all and not exclude flags. I do talk in-depth about the Wichita city flag in my video, "Flags of American Cities: Episode Two" if you are interested.
The Cedar Rapids flag, the green is supposed to represent Mays Island where City Government used to be based and the blue is supposed to represent the cedar river flowing through Mays Island.
I learned a lot about several states that I didn't know before thanks to some of them and the hidden meanings in some of the flags. Thank you for the video; it was quite instructive.
I would love that. In episode six of "Flags of American Cities" I will revisit Spokane and Salem's flags! What's a good way to reach you in the future?
I'm surprised they missed Wichita, Kansas considering all of the Kansas submissions. Wichita, Kansas is the biggest city in Kansas and it has a great flag.
They didn't miss it, they chose not to include it. As mentioned in the video, NAVA only included new flags, not flags they did in the previous rankings back in the 2000s. Personally, next time, they need to include ALL the flags and not leave out the ones from previous rankings.

Not only are they so awful the worst ones. But look more like brochures or magazine covers and nowhere near like flags. Absolutely awful.
