its like anime vs old-style cartoon old-style cartoons are very gag heavy and just overall made to get a laugh while anime is more exaggerated and while it can still be fun will lean into themes very hard
@@marfit77 Western cartoons are more exaggerated when it comes to movements, expressions etc. While Anime style is more detailed but not on a strict level where they can't exaggerate the animation. Which is why it's nice to see a mod like this using both styles without it looking out of place due to how they can exaggerate these things.
You don't often get to see Gustavo and Brick's reaction to lap 2 Or 3 for that matter So this is definitely nice to see. Granted that is just because they only get 2 levels to shine, but still, point stands.
In this version, it was planned that my composition for the mod would play - It's ramen time, which would be the theme of lap 3 at first, and in v4 - a replacement for It's pizza time But unfortunately, yurite couldn't add the track to the game, so alas
its because the noise was originally meant to be a playable character but was dropped pretty late in development before being finished much later. noise chan has the same support since she uses his sprite sheet. they did announce her and the vigil as future playable characters.
Lord, what a huge amount of work was done, I don’t have words to convey how much I like these mods. And with each update it improves the quality level.
It really should be brought on as official at this point. I'd love for Peppina to be made canon. If not just to have a wild female protagonist, something sorely missing from the 90s era of gaming despite us really wishing for it. Kind of like they did with Coco Bandicoot retroactively being playable in the first 3 Crash games in N-sane trilogy and they really played PERFECTLY to giving her a wild and silly personality fitting with Crash's but in her own adorable way. She's still smart, but likes to let loose and have fun doing the same dances. Though that really started with The Titans game where they experimented wtih giving her a more wild and kooky personality and it fit like a glove and made her so much more loveable. At least Anton is doing that. Definitely need more female protagonists who aren't afraid to be wild and zany.
This is like *apprentices vs apprentices.* All bosses (except Pizzaface/head) has the original boss in the background, like if they were a master, teaching to his apprentice how to be/fight Peppina Ramen could be an apprentice too or a co-worker in Peppino's pizzeria.

You know how Peppino looks like he’s based off of Rocko’s Modern Life? I like to think that Fake Peppino is based off of Ren and Stimpy. Furthering this: Peppina has Sailor Moon energy, and Fake Peppina is right out of a Junji Ito story.
I really love this design for Fake Peppina. Really well done, and genuinely creepy to boot. Although, I do kinda miss the rough sketched manga look she used to have (it's where I gave her the name of "Mangaloid")

I gotta say, this Mod just looks and feels better and better by every Update, the little details by the end there were some nice touches too, so could you then play as the Noise in the Original Version of this Game too then? But hey these kinds of stuff just makes me look forward to Future Updates, I can’t to see how this will eventually look. By the way, what i really like about this Mod, is that these Female Variants are not just supposed to be Gender-swapped versions of the Original Characters, they are actually supposed to their own Characters that just so happen to have some kind of relation to the their Original Equivalents, Speaking of which, can I get a rundown of just what kind of relation are each of these Female Equivalents supposed to have with their Original Counterparts again? I’ve forgotten.

I remember when I first heard of this and wondered if the maker would be able to capture the mix of pure stress and barely controlled rage that Peppino gives off, and I think they did a pretty good job.
