It is really good, I love that the colour clearly denotes u've crossed over to teh Stanton side SFX VFX and music All in perfect symphony for the experience
It appears to me that the handoff between the servers is much soother now also, to the point where you barely notice it unlike before where it was a big momentary freeze.
Damn, soooo good, so much more thump now. Also the creaking of the hull and the distortion around the ship is just so damn immersive, really pulls you into what's going on. Love it
I feel like the entrance and exit are sooooo pretty and then the inside of the tunnel is a little underwhelming in comparison. Still awsome with the sounds and music, but it could be so much better with just a little improvement
I’m glad they are still improving the looks and sounds, was meh on the effects when it was evo. This is definitely an improvement for sure. I like that they are trying to line up the music better with the entry and exit points, well done Pedro!
I can see you are experiencing the same 3rd person camera bug when the server transitions. It causes the screen to go black, and you are forced to go into 1st person view. I reported it a long while back, but the bug has not been fixed yet.f
Now if I can run it above 5fps lol. My next build will be AMD, I'm not slumming it with Intel anymore. We are done. Thanks for showing this how it can actually look. Spectacular.
@ Those are great chips, I wish I had the money to do it now. Who knows what it will be in a year or two when I actually can build the thing, but it won't have Intel, I know that much.
Damn. This was cooler than most movies. To think it’s gonna be part of the game…. People who flock to this game once it’s mainstream released will love it, but people who have been a part of this game since the beginning truly see how far it’s come and how much promise there is here. I can’t WAIT to play the jumps.
They improved so much upon the initial version, the sound, animation, density of the obstacles in the tunnel and its curves, the fact that you can see inside/out before you enter/exit
Love the audio, and the fact that it is a piece of gameplay where flight actually matters (it's been awhile since they added something like that). However, I strongly disagree with the beaming light in the center of the screen -- especially on an OLED, yikes, talk about staring into the sun!
It makes sense for the aesthetic but yeah, I've got a 1000nits OLED screen too... Just engage your safety-squints and don't play in a completely dark room (it's bad for your eyes anyway).
One thing I havent really been able to find an answer on, or a video. What does it look like when you fall out of the wormhole? Are you complete stranded and need to self destruct to get back? Can you actually quantum back to the originating system, or finish the travel at a *massive* cost of time & Quantum fuel? Do you even survive being dumped out?
I wish they would do away with that center line thing through the middle of the wormhole and just put more particles near the edge so that you know you're getting really close to falling out instead. It just seems too "gamey" and just doesn't really fit for me. It would be cool if the walls of the wormhole weren't basically perfectly cylindrical and actually would undulate and contort more. Also, the columns throughout don't seem like they're actually the wormholes walls bending around to make the tubes. They just look like they're slapped in, separate, yet identical assets. If CIG could find a way to bend the actual walls of the wormhole into these (and other) interesting contortions, rather than just columns placed inside of a mostly cylindrical tunnel, that would be great. Don't get me wrong. Overall, it is still pretty dang cool.
that's Chris Roberts getting in the way. He always pushed for those weird columns in the wormhole since the start. It's stupid, it's pointless, it's unpractical.
In my experience if you do it too many times you crash out into space, the area of space depending on which star you were closest to. So far I’ve never experienced any damage, just a long flight back to the nearest station
Can't wait too see when we'll get 56 different system and a 20 jumps route will take you different real time days because an idiotic Chris Roberts wants "minigame gameplay" inside wormhole with weird columns.
@@aaronnelson7702walking through a door requires no effort. Here you have to actively pilot the ship and avoid obstacles. Just because the guy makes it looks easy doesn’t necessarily mean it is.
i would turn OFF the music, wormholes don't produce music last time i checked, it takes it out of immersion to make it look like tv show ... it's just me, i get people are different
The suggestion of turning off the music that Pedro has composed for Star Citizen is actually the biggest sin I have ever seen commented on a SC video. L comment.

I love how it's this epic scene, such an amazing musical score.... first person you see out the wormhole: "FATDOGTITS"
The creaking of the hull as it's under stress really adds some tension.

Agree with what others have been saying, its at least 1/3 longer than it needs to be tbh, but still epic
Pretty sure it needs to be about as long as it takes to load into the game in yhe first place, since a new system is being loaded in.
I miss surprising lighting strikes hitting the ships... Would be awesome addition
