An excellent webinar, and most of the advice is applicable to Whiteboarding and, indeed, presenting in general, not just the BMC. Loved the example too, really brought it to life and shows that you guys "practice what you preach". Keep up the good work!
I am only 9 min and the, " Gives the urge to Blah Blah Blah" really hit home as well as the "Cognitive Murder" . I am re-defining my Value Proposition because of this very reason. I get caught up in excitement explaining the completed service I provide for them, that trying to explain the reasons behind -what's in it for them- gets lost in translation and I lose them. Thank you for this presentation- truly resonates with me.
We are glad to hear you still find our videos useful. We are seeing many people still find our older videos relevant and applicable in today's business environment so we advise all to check out our entire channel from old to new.
3:47 Presentation Killers: 1) presenting BMC all at once (Cognitive Murder), 2) too much granularity & detail, 3) too many ideas in one canvas, 4) elements that don't correspond to others (Orphan Elements), 5) Mixing present & future state, 6) Urge to ramble ir/relevant things bcs we're nervous 9:50 summary, 11:25 quick bonus tip 13:14 A Killer Presentation: 1) Value Prop -> Channels -> Cust Sgmts, 2) Cust Sgmts -> Revenue Streams -> Value Prop, 3) Layer in all of the pieces in BMC one at a time, use arrows to show the flow of things, 4) 16:18 effective color coding

Wow! I wish I'd seen this comment when we originally created this so I could work on my presenting quirks. Hopefully what I lacked in my presenting ability didn't prevent you from receiving value from the content. I appreciate the feedback and will work to improve on this. Thank you!
Certainly adds a new, powerful perspective to how I will be advising others as to how to present using the Business Model Canvas.
