The funniest video yet. You’re THAT guy who says “get off my lawn”, lol. It looks good. The washouts should be fine. I had cornhole foot prints in my sod but they disappeared after a week or so.
Connor is yelling, singing, dancing, waving hands, begging for more candy while Sister Ward sits in her chair and enjoys the parade with an occasional wave and thinks " ... and that guy is my husband and the father of my children. What's a woman have to do for some normalcy around here?" 😉
Coming from a woman's aspect here,-- she loves it. I know I would. But my husband is the shy type and would be more like Sister Ward holding down the fort in a chair. They're been together for over 20 years, she knew what she was getting into! Lol.
Connor, you are the Man. I appreciate so much how you take advantage of your perfect location to have a great lawn. You have that beautiful view of the mountains, a nice big flat lawn to work with, traffic to see the lawn, but not too much traffic, and a lovely home as a backdrop. Makes for the perfect place to show off your skills! Your honesty is hilarious - keep up the great vids!
Connor, check your mp rotators. The one by the street at 3:48 looks like its not spinning. I just replaced 15 of the 3000 90-210 because they all stopped. 3yr warranty

I am dealing with the same challenges you are with a KBG monostand. Now I remember why I went fescue/KBG mix in the backyard. But I will stay the course and not add sissy grass. Day 24 and I’m about 3/4” tall and a little patchy. Need to get a mow job down to encourage growth but it’s not tall enough yet. It’s Connor tall but not actually tall lol

This video gives me confidence that my lawn will be ok. It looks just like this right now. I might be a few weeks behind… but i have hope. Still 7 more weeks until frost. Debating throwing some more fert on it soon.

If I reseed I assume since I already put down some ferts I should avoid that again and just seed. Thanks for any insight and advice from anyone.
Hey breath easy. It happens. I am reno state too and was just admiring the seedlings and thanking the gods for not washing mine out last week. Turns out those gods said oh yah - forgot to do that and sent a massive wind storm and fell my huge tree - taking out three other trees. Now I have just dirt and seedlings and trees to remove in the center of it all. Hoping to move the trees out when the ground is frozen. Will have to buy more sunny seed mix I guess… Take care of what comes in and push on with the rest.
Wow 2 weeks and thats KBG? I'd love to try that but timing has to be perfect. Plus gets too hot here in CT for it. You should of done half Sissy Grass and half KBG.
