BlackJack Legacy What you've done so far is coming across very well, maybe continue like this 1st play and just do 2 or 3 turns per video till you've finished the game?
I really enjoyed this, I also bought the kick starter set, it's a great game and I'm looking forward to wave 2, also can I ask why the walker didn't come into base contact with Derek even when he was in his kill zone? I thought no matter what they moved into base contact

The way I played this was walkers can move 8" and shambling around the terrain 8" didn't bring him into contact. I've reread the rules on this and it's not 100% clear where terrain is involved. I think I probably shouldn't have moved the walker at all if I read it right now as he couldn't move into contact if the 8" rule stands for kill zone movement.
Although im really new to the rules myself, i thought if any character was in the kill zone of a survivor even through terrain then it would make them come into base contact, either way i really enjoyed this and i will defiantly be looking out for more contact, iv been watching your vids and you gained a subb :)
Like you say either way. As long as you agree with your opponent then it's all about having fun. Thanks for the sub too - means a lot to know people enjoy what I enjoy doing :)
Thanks for the question eddieharr. You can't search and item when a walker is in contact with the piece of terrain containing the item so when he ran and created noise this drew the walker to the truck so he couldn't search.

Thanks Paulo. I probably should have showed what items they had at the start. In the game only Carl shot his gun and he didn't get a headshot. Rick had a hatchet and Patrick had a baseball bat. Derek had a gun but never shot it if I remember correctly but it's a rule I think I would have missed!
Yeah it’s straight forward and feels like the rules are “what should happen”. There’s depth in linking together what survivors can do and how you can draw walkers around with noise to create gaps to run through and get supplies but that just comes with experience and isn’t extra rules to remember.

I thought if you are in the kill Zone of a walke you will be engaged in melee , I don't think they are limited to moving distance (5:25)
seppe toni good point. It’s been sometime since I filmed this but I’m still not 100% sure what the answer is. You’re probably right however 👍🏼
