    Love this!
    I was considering buying a Singing Straw for the longest time after you recommended it earlier this year or last year on social media... they reached out to me earlier this year and wanted to work with me as an affiliate/partner! So I got my own Singing Straw set and have been using it almost every day for the last 6 months or so, and notice a huge difference in my voice now! My tone seems like it's more full, and my range has improved significantly (both on the higher and lower end)!

    I am so grateful for your videos. I used to sing so much better than I sing now, with tons confidence and stamina. I got diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and I did radiation to my chest had multiple surgeries where I was intubated and then my immunotherapy caused severe damage in my gut causing me to be opened up from the bottom of my sturnim to the top of my pelvic bone, twice. Is there any advice you can give me to stop sounding like an old woman who sounds terrible?. I genuinly believe and care about the words I am singing, I am just so stressed out from sounding terrible compared to how I used to sound, that you could never tell it. 😢

    Hello- what a fun exercise. Can I use just a regular straw? Or is a singing straw different?

    • @AnnaMarieOfficial
      @AnnaMarieOfficial 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use a regular straw in water; but the Singing Straw has a smaller diameter, so it has more of an effect on the vocal folds over time. :)

    Is there a wrong way to do this? For example if I am still flipping from chest to head voice to sing the higher notes is that OK?

    • @SingeoOfficial
      @SingeoOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It is okay - the goal will be to not "flip" from chest to head voice but rather find the coordination to move from the bottom to top of your range without that flip or crack. You will notice that things are in head voice for the higher notes because that is naturally where higher notes live! So, its a good thing - you just want to be able to make that transition smoothly :) Which is what exercises like the bubble and singing through a straw can really help with!!
