I’ve been making what we call sugared peanuts for over 45 years for Christmas. Mine are done with 1 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 2 cups raw shelled but skins still on peanuts. You melt the water and sugar then cook the peanuts in the syrup on medium until they seize up. Then you put them on a non-greased pan at 300 for 30 min. Stirring every ten. Then cool and eat. If you don’t have the skins on the sugar won’t stick. Never had ones made with dry roasted salted peanuts with no skins before. I’m definitely going to have to try these. Thanks for the share.

Is it REALLY this easy?!?! I have some pecans and walnuts left over from holiday baking...I'll give it a try. Candied nuts are expensive, but delicious! I've tried them at the mall once, where they charge you by the pound. 😊👍

Thank you! Oh I love peanuts! Linda, have you ever had the peanut brittle that the ladies of the Pentecostal church sale sometimes? It is so yummy! It is flaky and not hard like most peanut brittles. I would love the recipe if you ever run across it. 😍

I just made these and was so pleased with the outcome. I was a little iffy about when they were done , I'm doing well to see a peanut , much less a crystal so I guessed. Must have been right, they are so good

Darn, I wish I could make these this weekend but my big squirrel got into the peanuts and ate nearly all of them. (The squirrel is named Hubby.) Those look so good, thank you for the inspiration. Next time I shop I'll have to get a jar of peanuts and give these a try.

Hey Linda those look good! Starting out to be a rough week. My Aunt passed away on the weekend and today just happens to be 2 years since my Mom passed away. Trying to hold it together but not getting any easier. Well hope your having a good week. Tell Sam he's missing out eating a good snack. We need a joke. Take care.❤
