I enjoyed rewatching with you! I love Sea’s expressive eyes and ability to communicate so much. Jimmy has a similar ability. They have grown into great actors. They are exceptional in this series!
If anyone is curious about the scent/perfume ect that Day gave Mhok. I think it is called TIWA, which corresponds to the Thai word ทิวา, meaning ’Day(daytime)’. Its citrus-scented perfume with a spicy smell. Day used his own name to describe Mhok.
This episode beginning with Day sitting on his bed and Mhok opening the curtain to let light come in was brilliant Because we all know by now how Day is the sunflower and Mhok is his sunshine. They know each other so well now that, Mhok can easily tell that Day wasnt feeling good emotionally by for example Day being all quiet again & him not smiling. I always appreciate how Mhok checks on Day and how he is feeling mentally and tries his best to make Day smile & lift up his mood but at the same time being ready to just listen. Day clearly doesnt even know that Mhok bought him his favorite flower😭 at all. Let alone the fact that Mhok was going to give him the flower and that at the end, he ended up hiding it because August arrived… What also got me a little emotional is the fact that despite Mhok wanting to give the flower to Day, Day feels like he doesnt deserve the flower in the first place and that it should be given to someone who can see it.. that felt like to me that Day feels like Mhok can do better and deserves someone better than him..possibly someone who isnt like him.. someone who can see and experience the world in the same way as Mhok. As a visually impaired person, it doesnt feel right to me that Day was kept in the dark about that August came & had overheard Day’s confession. That just comes of as August taking advantage of Day’s disability and using it against him. Mhok not telling Day about August might blow up/backfire on him at some point even though he had good intentions. I loved how Mhok confronted August in classy way🥹 He stopped him to have a little chat with him, to point some things out to August before letting him in to see Day. I knew that Mhok wouldnt tell August to just straight up leave cause that would have been against his character/personality. If Mhok wouldnt have let August in to the house, to see Day.. it would have felt like he is taking away Day’s freedom in a way or making a choice for him that isnt his to make in the first place. Glad this is how Mhok handled the situation cause it just shows how he respects Day and continues to also support Day’s choices🥰
August showing up the next day and his excuse for why he didnt show up yesterday, all of it didnt really sit right with me. He could have contacted Day to tell him he can’t make it or that he will be late but he didnt and then when he did show up many hours late, he had the nerve to use Day’s disability against him and to his own benefit all the while putting Mhok in to a uncomfortable situation. I do think that Mhok feels quilt about not telling Day about August just based on his facial expressions when remembering the previous day but I don’t know about August. August also treats Mhok with this unnecessary attitude, but that may be because he either sees or senses how happy Day is around Mhok and how good of care Mhok takes of him. The way August was treating Day isnt okay. He seems like a person who puts his own feelings above anyone elses like Day’s. To me it felt like he was trying to be comfortable with being around Day despite him being visually impaired/blind even though I’m not so sure that he was. August saying ”Do you know how to eat it without getting your hands dirty?” and going ahead trying to feed Day, this scene really made me feel irritated & uncomfortable cause he first of all didnt ask or offer help to Day but in instead was trying to make the choice for him/like he knew best ect. Through out this episode August has been infantilizing towards Day and his disability & been condescending and patronizing towards Day which shows in the way he treats, acts and speaks to Day. I love how we can see the clear difference between August and Mhok, their interaction with Day. August knows the past Day. Mhok knows the current Day. Mhok treats Day like everyone else, he is aware and acknowledges Day’s disability but he still sees Day for who he is and doesnt let Day’s disability be the only thing he sees. Mhok knows that Day simply is capable, he offers or asks Day if he needs any help instead of helping without consent or being overly helpful ect. And most of all he knows how Day strives for independence ect. August on the other hand, He isnt treating Day like he use which I think is because of Day now being visually impaired/blind and also cause he knew that Day liked him. I get that when someone becomes visually impaired/blind that theres is a learning/adapting period for people around them as well. There are things they may not know or mistakes that are made along the way but that should not be used as an excuse. I just love Day’s and Aon’s friendship💕 Aon is a character I truly love because he is honest, confident in himself and cares for others. He always gives good at advice to Day and people around him whether it is directly or indirectly🫶🏼 ”Couples it takes time to learn to trust each other”, He is really giving everyone advice. It feels like Aon is being a trusted friend, therapist and a life coach at times🤣 And Day is always happy and comfortable with him. They both clearly value and respect each other & enjoy each others company. Mhok also helping Aon was nice to see cause even then we could see that Mhok was communicating with Aon and wasnt helping without asking and. getting consent. I think Mhok has unconsciously started admitting his feelings towards Day which was easy to catch through out this episode. He kept on looking at Day, having this longing in his eyes ect. The way he spoke to Day was so gentle and tender which is different to how he speaks normally as Mhok normally has had this kind of blunt tone when he talks. And it all came out unconsciously which was sweet 🥹 Its always nice seeing Porjai and Mhok spending time and interacting with each other. Especially because it feels like Porjai has been much more aware of Mhok’s and Day’s interest and feelings for each other then anyone else. She’s mature and very honest, she says it like it is but also takes time to listen. PORJAI, YOUR INTERESTED IN NIGHT?!?😱 BUT SINCE WHEN.. SPILL THE TEA DARLING🤣.. that was my true feelings when she started asking about Night. ”One day when Day gets married, You’ve got to be the one giving him blessing on stage” said by Porjai. Thats all Mhok needed to hear😭 He may have just started to look at Day’s old shoes..But it feels like in that moment he came to the realization he wanted to be the one by Day’s side always..🥹 Cause the next thing we know, he was asking himself… ”Do you think I like this job without realizing it?” It was very obvious that he was thinking about a person and not the job.
Mhok notices every little detail about Day and him always wanting Day to be happy really shows through his actions. Like how so quickly noticed how down Day felt about his old shoes, so he took the time and made an effort to fix them. He was thoughtful enough to replace the shoe laces with neon green ones so Day could easily spot them and adding the sunflowers to them. Mhok did all of that, all for then August to come and give Day the new pair of shoes he had bought Day. I could feel Mhok’s hurt and jealousy as he watched the budding romance between August and Day unfold right before his eyes. Mhok's heart was sinking whenever August tried to get close to Day. He was feeling jealous, and feeling like he's losing Day. Despite how Mhok himself was feeling all kinds of emotions about the whole DayAugust situation, he was still there for Day if he were to be in need of help. Mhok showed that by running behind August and Day despite August being Day’s running partner. Mhok maybe Day’s caregiver but he does more than his job requires him to do. I think what made this episode more emotional was how most this episode was like: Day using his eye drops just to see more of August.. After having done it to see Mhok’s face before.. Mhok just being there silently watching them. Mhok running right behind August&Day in the beginning to slowly being further and further away from them, the distance growing🥺 Mhok being in the background. Kinda like he was forgotten, Mhok leaving when he felt like he is no longer was needed. Staying accessible enough for when Day needs him physically, but at the same time somewhat withdrawn when he felt like he isn't needed emotionally. Day journey to accepting his disability and adapting to his life now has had its ups and downs. While i feel like he is still in his grieving process, he is getting through it in his on pace which is important. Day feels more content within himself and with his life, he feels more mentally stable and happier. I think all of this, now shows in a positive way within his relationships with other people like his mother. While there were times when Day needed his mother & he let her be there for him ect. There were also many times when he use to be very blunt to her & kept her at arms length sort of speak ect. Even though his mother always cared for him, her approach to Day and how she treated Day wasnt right or the correct way. So now seeing Day’s mother and him being all warm and caring with each other. Day being so touched and feeling cared for by his mother remembering his birthday. Day being in the embrace of his mother, was wholesome💕 Mhok and Night bonding was something I had been hoping to see more of cause since the beginning Night had been in support of Mhok being Day’s caregiver. I felt bad for Night cos it seems that he’s been trying his best to be a supportive sibling🥺 And yes he may have made many mistakes a long the way but at least he was trying. I do think that Day cares for his brother Night as well, if he didnt.. he wouldnt be acting the way he is towards him. Night asking Mhok if Day had talked/mentioned him at all, he clearly wanted to hear that Day had at least talked about him cause at least then that would have meant..Day had thought of him. It also kinda feels like Night might feel like he can’t or has no right to ask Day to forgive him. Mhok was being himself by asking about the tension between him and Day cause of his want to understand and help if possible while still showing respect towards Day. Night showed how he cares and respects Day by not just straight up telling Mhok the story. There clearly is something that happened between him and Day👀 Whether or not he should be feeling this way or not, Night thinks of himself as the villain... I truly need to know their backstory. Seeing Night smoke and remembering how Day doesnt like it.. Gave me the idea of what if smoking/cigarettes reminds Day of his brother. I truly did not realize this before but when i did, i felt sad😔 One of my favourite scenes; Mhok simply just making any excuse to fix Day’s outfit to keep touching him. Both Mhok and Day flirting with each other with sweet words. Seeing Mhok getting at least a little nervous, shy and feeling the butterflies in his stomach, is really cute. Day asking Mhok to describe the things he was wearing while Mhok let Day touch him was just heartwarming🥹 The tension between them is clear as day and I love how one of their love language is showcased again during a sweet and intimate moment. Day giving Mhok the scent that was his favourite, it felt like he was marking his territory. He was already claiming Mhok as his without realizing it.🤭 (Although I don’t believe anyone can own an other human being ect.) ”At first, you want to flee from it. After you scent it for a while, it makes you feel warmth.” Aint that the perfect way to describe Mhok’s and Day’s relationship💕🥹 As visually impaired person myself, I really feel touched by scenes where Mhok is using descriptive speech with Day. Like for example when Day had arrived to his birthday surprise party🎉 Mhok took the time to tell who was there and where, what was in front of him and little details like what was written on the cake, peoples facial expressions ect. People may think having moments/scenes like these are obvious cause of the series having a main lead who is visually impaired/blind.. but i can tell you it isnt and isnt always executed in the best way possible. I’m glad as well for these scene cause it helps me pick up on little details I don’t/wouldnt have noticed at all or simply just gives me more insight/depth to the scenes. Through out this series I have felt like both Mhok and Day feel that there is something between them. Mhok now I think has realized his feeling for Day while Day is trying to figure his feelings for Mhok. I have to say, I havent felt so betrayed in my entire life.. When Mhok said the word matchmaker..👀 I was like Mhok come here because you need a reality check darling🫣 You already played CUPID and now you wanted to play MATCHMAKER. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Anyway, thats what my brain was thinking 🤣 It did seem that Day was slightly disappointed as well. August taking Day away from Mhok and all Mhok could do was look at Day leaving him behind... I felt that🥺 Mhok also giving Day personal space to spend time with his friends is good but at the same time it isnt nice to see him suffering while he can’t express his actual feelings towards Day. That's mature love though if you ask me. The talk between August and Mhok made me just feel irritated. I felt like August was overstepping Day’s boundaries and showed lack of respect for Day by telling Mhok how he is no longer needed ect. What Day wants or needs is up to him to decide not August. August asking Mhok to leave just shows how much he doesnt know about Day especially when Mhok has become Day’s safezone and him just leaving without telling anyone would be unsettling for Day ect. To me it seemed like the way August talk to Mhok was at least a little condescending if not more. Mhok had quit smoking for Day because he didn't like the smell, but once August told him "you can go home for today, i'll take care of him" he thought Day didn't need him anymore, not just for tonight but forever. His duty was over, and he could now smoke🥺 Day felt a void when Mhok wasnt by his side and thats why he asked Gee if he knew where he was & Day immediately knew something was wrong with Mhok when he heard that he was smoking outside cause Mhok told Day that he already quit. 😭 These two really understand each other and are on the same wave length now. I CANT WITH THE CIGARETTE IN THE CAKE AND THE SUNFLOWERS! The place to which Mhok use to take his lovers to make them feel better but now it was he, himself feeling heartbroken, alone and doubting his life. I loved the moment where Day thought Mhok had come back, he was clearly waiting/hoping that Mhok would be the one to be by his side again.. only for it be August. This scene was such a parallel scene in my opinion to a scene in previous episode. All of this back to back seriously was something else I tell you.
Day still struggles with anxiety in some situations and when feeling overwhelmed or scared, Him calling out for Gee and not August speaks louder then words. He doesnt trust August to be there for him, let alone to take care of him. August doesnt understand him or even make an effort to understand. Gee being the person he would look for when Mhok isn’t around when August has been his badminton partner actually makes sense cause Gee also can make Day feel safe and secure. ”The road to hell is paved with good intentions”… August is mess.. As I have said but I’ll say it again. I feel like its so wrong for Day to have been kept in the dark about August knowing that he likes him. If August wasnt sure of how he felt about Day, he should have taken the time to figure out his feels and also be open/honest with Day about were he stands cause then Day could have made an informed decision for himself on whether or not to continue ect. If he really didnt feel anything more for Day/if he knew he only saw Day as friend then he should have done nothing. August kept leading Day on and getting his hopes up. He was SELFISH all the while thinking he was being selfless. What he did was SELF-SERVING in my opinion. To me it just felt like he didnt want to lose and wanted to be a winner, like this was a competition of some sort. August didnt want to lose to Mhok, he believed that he knows Day and can take care of him the best ect. But he was wrong about that, he knows the past Day not the current Day. August really needed a reality check cause what he did was cruel and the fact he was going to just leave Day there…Like if it hadn’t been for Mhok I’m sure he would have flat out left without saying anything. Mhok standing up for Day was everything though. I’m genuinely relieved that Mhok witness it all cause he truly cares for Day and his mental health. Mhok’s tears says it all. The moment when we could see the anger on Mhok’s face as he was holding onto August’s collar & Day gently grapping hold of Mhok’s hand to calm him down and in a soft tone telling him to release/to let go of August😭 It really showcased both their own way of consolation for each other. Day didn’t want Mhok to ruin his probation for that jerk. That truly was the moment when it clicked in August’s head…that Day wasnt protecting him but that he was actually protecting Mhok.. the person he cares for the most, who has been and will continue to be by his side. The look of tiny bit of anger on August’s face as he leaves says it all. August was in the wrong but still was trying to proof that he knows Day the best & ”No one can look after you like I do” classic. He knew Day liked him & still he decided to do what he did, never taking into consideration how Day felt/would feel as a result. Could August have felt confused by his own feelings, maybe but that isnt an excuse for what he did and he even admitted how he felt bad/Sorry for Day so it seems less likely. I think his perfectionism and possible savior complex might have also played a part in this. Day went through so much this episode just like Mhok. I know some people might feel like how could Day still like August or feel confused but in my opinion it makes a lot of sense why that would be the case. Also Day falling for Mhok at a slower pace is actually refreshing to me. Day is grieving his past life and a good part of that is having to let go of things. August is someone Day needed to face in order for him to get a chance to sort out his feelings cause up until now he had never expressed his feelings to August ect. August suddenly coming back into his life at a time when Day had already started developing feelings for Mhok.. being confused is very normal. The moment of realization that we saw on Day’s face when August rejected him, broke me😣 Because thats when Day realized the person he likes - doesnt like him back & the person who he thought understood him - didnt really understand him ect. August did the one thing Day dislikes the most which is to pity him. Day must have felt like he isnt worthy enough, like he’s a charity case. He must have felt like there must be something wrong with him when there really isnt. Mhok calling out Day’s name so softly. Everything about this part- the caress on his face, the tight embrace, and head patting.. The raw emotion and warmth in each other’s arms as they hugged😭 ”Love is simple. Its in the mess you've made, but you're laughing & being there even when it's hard” - All of that which August represents the opposite of and what Mhok truly represents. All that happened with August took a toll on Day’s confidence, self-worth and added to his trust issues. Which shows especially when Day with a cracking voice saying, “Is there anyone else in this world who doesn’t feel pity for me?”. He was back at that place again, feeling like people will only pity him. I can completely relate to this in my personal experience. Regardless of what disability you have, all we want is to be they treated with respect and dignity as a human being. The kiss between MhokDay was full of meaning. Mhok has always been more of a doer than a talker, so this in a way was his confession. I liked how Mhok looked hesitant to kiss Day at first. Through the kiss he wanted to show Day that he’s attractive, liked for who he is & it was also his way of confessing while offering reassurance. You could see Mhok was looking for something to answer before the kiss but he couldnt get the words out and he possible felt like words wouldnt be enough. Their kiss was paralleling the kiss with August. Mhok kissing slightly at first then again to show Day that contrary to August, Mhok kissed him because he wants to and thats because he genuinely likes him. Not because of pity. I liked how we could see how Day felt unconfident and hesitant while Mhok was the opposite. Day still questioning whether or not Mhok truly likes him is valid especially after what had just happened with August. The fact that Day has been depending on his other senses and has not been able to see visual cues like Mhok’s constant loving and affectionate looks ect & despite their feelings for each other and Mhok not doing the job of caregiver because of money… at the end of the day, Mhok is still his caregiver who is getting paid. If all of that is taken into consideration, all of how Day is feeling, being insecure and feeling like he can’t trust right way… makes perfect sense. I hope we get to see their how their relationship changes from caregiver-client to boyfriends in a way that makes sense. We are on the right track already, so lets see how it turns out. Day in the novel: "That cigarette-flavored kiss was carefree, sweet, and most importantly, impossible to forget” 🥰
"Ohm #3" makes me chuckle every time 😅 August legitimately thought he was doing something good for Day by giving him "that moment" and being overly nice to him. He doesn't see that treating Day that way is actually hurting him especially playing with his feelings. Overall though he seems selfish and based on Day's comments about him it's not far off. As upset as Mhok was for Day after he found out why August kissed him I"m glad he didn't resort to violence. He got angry but no punches were thrown. He knew that would upset Day even more. We love character growth.
I think it's only right for Mhok and August not to tell Day that August was at the resto-bar last night. For August, he perhaps doesn't want Day to confess his feelings unprepared and catch Day off-guard. For Mohk, that's not his secret to tell. It should be Day directly telling his feelings to August. I don't think August is lying about his injury. As you can see in the mini flashback at 3:07 August was already wearing the wrist brace the night before. Plus, why would he still go to the resto-bar (though extremely late) if he intentionally ditched Day right? It wouldn't make sense. So I think August was telling the truth about the hospital thingy.
PAof’s icon--the magical “rooftop”!!🥰🫶👏🤭😂the pacing/progression of this show is really similar to “bad buddy”🤔(btw the contrast between Day/August’s “kiss”vs Day/Mhok’s KISS!!! Love it!!😎👌💪)But what I really wanna say for this ep is that I love Mhok so so so much for the fact that he didn’t talk bad or try to sabotage/bad mouth about August in any way the whole time on everything(the running, surprise party etc…)omggg!! Because he puts Day’s happiness first! He knew if he did those, not only it’s not fair, but also that’s not what a person should do if he truly loves someone🫶🫶🫶omggg!! All he wants is for Day to be happy ahead of his own happiness even! This ep, just thumbs up and full respect for Mhok!👍👍👍👏👏👏(even though it’s so sad to see Mhok hurting inside🥺) Ps: again, the “last twilight” story in the background throughout the ep, such clever use for the plot!! Mee=Day, and Mhok is the “sunlight” that Day will chase or face to break the curse just like “sunflower”; Like we suspected, the story reading scenes are flash forward to the future even from last ep, I think they are already together at that point, and then these 2 eps are more like flashbacks, now I think next ep, we might be back to current time??🤔🤭
I feel quite conflicted about Mohk not telling Day about August overhearing his confession. On one hand I can see how Day may feel betrayed or lose trust inn Mohk if he comes to find out about this. As his caretaker Mohk has not just been there to guide Day but also be his eyes in a sense in social situation like this. At the same time if he did say something I feel it would have made Day crawl back into his shell and stop opening up/being vulnerable. The way that August used that information though was terrible so I definitely understand and expect Day to be quite upset when he finds out. I feel like it will definitely be a point of conflict in the future/plot device for an episode 11 break up or something. I hope I'm wrong though because it's too predictable and quite honestly boring when they do that in shows. I'd rather they subvert this trope and show us something different. As for August, I don't hate him at all really. He's a character that's very realistic. I don't this he bares any ill intent but his "pity" is insulting. I know many people that approach disabled people with this lowkey infantilising/coddling type of pity and sympathy which I hate with a passion but I understand it comes from a place of ignorance and not malice. He definitely needs to work on himself but he isn't a bad person. I get the feeling that he cares for day but is generally an inconsiderate friend at times. He just needs a reality check and to shift his perspective on disability.
I personally think you’re wrong about Day being upset over Mohk not telling him about August showing up at the bar. I doubt it will be brought up at all and even if it does, Day would look at it like Mohk didn’t want him to get hurt.
@@yikesyeep My theory is that they will have conflict over 1) the mom’s reaction and 2) I believe Day will get his eyesight back and that will change the dynamic between him and Mohk.
I know I sound like a broken record, but this show has managed to surpass its previous episode once again. I don’t even know how that’s possible, but it is. I have a few other series this year … not just BL … that I really love, but this … this is on a whole ‘nother level. I feel sorry for the shows that have to follow … this has just about ruined me for anything else to come. I do feel kind of bad for August. I don’t think he’s evil, more like misguided. He wants to help his friend, but doesn’t know how and is going about it in all the wrong ways. I hope he atones for his clumsy effort in the future. This episode, I noticed one misstep … ONE. I thought the music in the last scene was overly loud and kind of overwhelmed the tenderness and uncertainty of that scene. I would have preferred no music at all, honestly. And just another nitpick, I wish they would stop saying eye transplant. No one gets an eye transplant … but they do get cornea transplants. I’m hoping our happy ending is: Day getting his cornea transplant and finally getting to see his Mhok! On a lighter note: those poor sunflowers just cannot catch a damned break. They need their own happy ending!
Like I said last ep, August is TRULY the “catalyst” to bring Mhok and Day together, and he did a great “catalysis”,😆🤣I’ll give him that!😂😅see! This character is there in the series for a reason! But after this ep, August, just go! Ok! Your job here is done, ok! Thank you for your service!😅😉😌 idk how to feel about August right now after this ep! Is he a bad guy? No, but….what he did at the end!!😬😬😬😳😳😳jeez! I honestly thought he might’ve had genuine crush on Day, that’s why when he kissed Day, I was like okay…but then! He got Day’s hope up and crashed him completely after he was the one that initiated the kiss in the first place!!!!😖😒😶 August, you don’t do stuff like this, playing with other people’s feelings just because you feel pity about them ok!! Omggggg!! I get it, you feel pity for Day and you want him to be happy, I really do! BUT if you don’t see him as a love interest, you DO NOT do what you did! Ok! You initiated the kiss, giving Day hope, and then completely dumped his feelings into trash can by pulling away! Ok!! Pity is not love! Idk if I want to see him back, maybe him and Day can still be friends, but that’s up to Day, ok! Bye! Day will be so happy with Mhok, so August, you don’t have to feel sorry for Day anymore, ok! Farewell!! Ps: I knew they are gonna come up with a decent enough reason for August’s absence and delay from last ep, otherwise the viewers will not have it with him, and tbh, the reason they came up with, I mean, pretty convenient but understandable for the plot, sufficient I guess🤔
OK…you asked and I can see where you’re used to getting some long comments….so here goes. I do really appreciate your reactions though I only watch them (which I’m sure is normal) for the series I want to relive through you. This is definitely one of those….every so often, a BL can blow regular dramas out of the water and that’s what P’Aof and “Last Twilight” are doing. Not only is every episode a gem, but almost each scene is as well. It makes it hard to want to watch the rest of the BL BS that seems to be prevalent now. Even one like “The Sign,” which isn’t bad, is just not on the same level as this. My personal take on August is that he’s basically a confused person and not very thoughtful (dah). I don’t think he’s evil and he probably genuinely thought he was being nice to Day though the kiss after knowing Day’s true feelings was pretty much over the line. August is, as you noted, very selfish and competitive (hence trying to ace out Mohk at each instance) person. Let’s face it, he is really just a plot point or catalyst as someone else commented. Ever since Porjai went to drop off the slippers, I had a feeling things were going to happen between her and Night. Also, Night seems like a nice guy and maybe there is nothing more than a misunderstanding between the brothers. Day did refer to Knight in ep 5, when he told Mohk that he didn’t know the real Night when they came to the date place and Mohk said it was nice of Knight to lend them his car. Fish do sleep at the bottom of a tank…… Many thanks for not talking over the drama which way too many reactors do. I’m glad that Mohk did not tell Day about August showing up at the bar….what would be the point? The reactions on your face are always telling.
Tbh I feel a bit conflicted about Mhok kissing Day in that moment. I understand why he did it but Day just went through that shit situation and even though he feels bad, he still has a crush on August. It doesn't just go away in a second. I feel like Khok took advantage of the situation a bit maybe without the intention but yeah, I don't know...
This episode beginning with Day sitting on his bed and Mhok opening the curtain to let light come in was brilliant
Because we all know by now how Day is the sunflower and Mhok is his sunshine.
Let alone the fact that Mhok was going to give him the flower and that at the end, he ended up hiding it because August arrived…
What also got me a little emotional is the fact that despite Mhok wanting to give the flower to Day, Day feels like he doesnt deserve the flower in the first place and that it should be given to someone who can see it.. that felt like to me that Day feels like Mhok can do better and deserves someone better than him..possibly someone who isnt like him.. someone who can see and experience the world in the same way as Mhok.
I loved how Mhok confronted August in classy way🥹
He stopped him to have a little chat with him, to point some things out to August before letting him in to see Day.
I just love Day’s and Aon’s friendship💕
Aon is a character I truly love because he is honest, confident in himself and cares for others.
He always gives good at advice to Day and people around him whether it is directly or indirectly🫶🏼
”Couples it takes time to learn to trust each other”, He is really giving everyone advice.
It feels like Aon is being a trusted friend, therapist and a life coach at times🤣
And Day is always happy and comfortable with him.
And it all came out unconsciously which was sweet 🥹
Its always nice seeing Porjai and Mhok spending time and interacting with each other.
Thats all Mhok needed to hear😭 He may have just started to look at Day’s old shoes..But it feels like in that moment he came to the realization he wanted to be the one by Day’s side always..🥹
Cause the next thing we know, he was asking himself…
”Do you think I like this job without realizing it?”
It was very obvious that he was thinking about a person and not the job.
I think what made this episode more emotional was how most this episode was like:
Day using his eye drops just to see more of August.. After having done it to see Mhok’s face before.. Mhok just being there silently watching them.
Mhok running right behind August&Day in the beginning to slowly being further and further away from them, the distance growing🥺
Mhok being in the background.
Day being in the embrace of his mother, was wholesome💕
Mhok and Night bonding was something I had been hoping to see more of cause since the beginning Night had been in support of Mhok being Day’s caregiver.
I felt bad for Night cos it seems that he’s been trying his best to be a supportive sibling🥺
And yes he may have made many mistakes a long the way but at least he was trying.
There clearly is something that happened between him and Day👀
Whether or not he should be feeling this way or not, Night thinks of himself as the villain... I truly need to know their backstory.
Seeing Night smoke and remembering how Day doesnt like it.. Gave me the idea of what if smoking/cigarettes reminds Day of his brother. I truly did not realize this before but when i did, i felt sad😔
One of my favourite scenes;
Mhok simply just making any excuse to fix Day’s outfit to keep touching him.
Both Mhok and Day flirting with each other with sweet words.
Seeing Mhok getting at least a little nervous, shy and feeling the butterflies in his stomach, is really cute.
Day asking Mhok to describe the things he was wearing while Mhok let Day touch him was just heartwarming🥹
The tension between them is clear as day and I love how one of their love language is showcased again during a sweet and intimate moment.
Day giving Mhok the scent that was his favourite, it felt like he was marking his territory. He was already claiming Mhok as his without realizing it.🤭 (Although I don’t believe anyone can own an other human being ect.)
”At first, you want to flee from it. After you scent it for a while, it makes you feel warmth.” Aint that the perfect way to describe Mhok’s and Day’s relationship💕🥹
As visually impaired person myself, I really feel touched by scenes where Mhok is using descriptive speech with Day.
Like for example when Day had arrived to his birthday surprise party🎉
Mhok took the time to tell who was there and where, what was in front of him and little details like what was written on the cake, peoples facial expressions ect.
When Mhok said the word matchmaker..👀
I was like Mhok come here because you need a reality check darling🫣
You already played CUPID and now you wanted to play MATCHMAKER.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Anyway, thats what my brain was thinking 🤣
It did seem that Day was slightly disappointed as well.
August taking Day away from Mhok and all Mhok could do was look at Day leaving him behind... I felt that🥺
Mhok also giving Day personal space to spend time with his friends is good but at the same time it isnt nice to see him suffering while he can’t express his actual feelings towards Day.
His duty was over, and he could now smoke🥺
Day felt a void when Mhok wasnt by his side and thats why he asked Gee if he knew where he was & Day immediately knew something was wrong with Mhok when he heard that he was smoking outside cause Mhok told Day that he already quit. 😭
These two really understand each other and are on the same wave length now.
The moment when we could see the anger on Mhok’s face as he was holding onto August’s collar & Day gently grapping hold of Mhok’s hand to calm him down and in a soft tone telling him to release/to let go of August😭
It really showcased both their own way of consolation for each other.
The moment of realization that we saw on Day’s face when August rejected him, broke me😣
Because thats when Day realized the person he likes - doesnt like him back & the person who he thought understood him - didnt really understand him ect.
The raw emotion and warmth in each other’s arms as they hugged😭
”Love is simple.
Day in the novel:
"That cigarette-flavored kiss was carefree, sweet, and most importantly, impossible to forget” 🥰
"Ohm #3" makes me chuckle every time 😅
August legitimately thought he was doing something good for Day by giving him "that moment" and being overly nice to him.
The contrast between your reaction on 45:28 and 46:06 is truly priceless 🤣
😇
40:55 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I died laughing
I lovee loved your reaction soo much😊❤
PAof’s icon--the magical “rooftop”!!🥰🫶👏🤭😂the pacing/progression of this show is really similar to “bad buddy”🤔(btw the contrast between Day/August’s “kiss”vs Day/Mhok’s KISS!!!
This ep, just thumbs up and full respect for Mhok!👍👍👍👏👏👏(even though it’s so sad to see Mhok hurting inside🥺)
Ps: again, the “last twilight” story in the background throughout the ep, such clever use for the plot!!
@@cindybowser2673 I hope that's what happens because I'd like to be wrong bout this.
Thank you for your service!😅😉😌
idk how to feel about August right now after this ep! Is he a bad guy? No, but….what he did at the end!!😬😬😬😳😳😳jeez! I honestly thought he might’ve had genuine crush on Day, that’s why when he kissed Day, I was like okay…but then! He got Day’s hope up and crashed him completely after he was the one that initiated the kiss in the first place!!!!😖😒😶
August, you don’t do stuff like this, playing with other people’s feelings just because you feel pity about them ok!!
Fish do sleep at the bottom of a tank……
Many thanks for not talking over the drama which way too many reactors do.
It is the pity for me. Rather than being supportive he gave false hope to day and kissed him on his birthday. Just so cruel.
