Super Pac-Man - Ms. Pac-Man: Special Color Edition (Game Boy Color) Scroll Mode - Gameplay Video

In 1999, Super Pac-Man made a late jump to the Game Boy as a special bonus for owners of the Ms. Pac-Man: Special Color Edition release. While the game was built with the Game Boy Color in mind, it comes in a black Game Boy cartridge. This type of cartridge can be played on the original Game Boy, while playing on the Game Boy Color provides players with...well, the color!
As with Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man on the Game Boy, the regular mode provides greater sprite detail but a limited view of the maze. Pressing left or right on the title screen will grant access to a full screen mode with less sprite detail, but nevertheless allows the player to view the entire maze. In Super Pac-Man's case, player stats are also hidden from view during gameplay unless the full screen mode is enabled.
