Yesss I agree Pastor Thomas , it is not only my FAV book in the Bible (even though it’s so hard to choose lol) but Chapter 8 is also my FAV and so powerful, my FAV scripture is Romans 8:28

Only one Apostle had a dramatic conversation, Paul. The others simply heard Christ Jesus say "come follow me" and they did.
C. S. Lewis said we have it backwards we are not s body possessed by a soul but a soul that has a body.
Jesus told the disciples that it would be better for them after He left because the Spirit would come dwell in them (John 16:7). Having the Holy Spirit in them would be better than having Jesus there beside them. In fact, they so needed the Spirit’s presence that Jesus instructed them not to so much as lift a finger toward fulfilling the Great Commission until after that Spirit had come.
The Spirit inside us is better than Jesus beside us.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were ALL filled with the Holy Spirit.
Every born again believer has the Holy Spirit. If someone says he is a believer but doesn't have the Holy Spirit, he's not born again. If you're unsure, pray.

Hopefully the other Derrick Thomas was also a Christian. He used to play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1990s but died tragically in a car accident in 2000.
