I have no words to describe my appreciation for your professionalism, artistry, and talent! Thank you SO MUCH for being a throwback to my childhood. It's not just the musical style, it's the things I mentioned at the outset! I just subscribed... thank you for being quality musical artists in an industry that values and mass-produces mediocrity for a mouth-breathing, cell-phone-addicted, captive audience.
Very nice. Vocal is convincing and pretty. Arrangement based on Carpenter’s version but done in F as was Maureen McGovern’s. He’s reading something printed: who published this piano accompaniment? Gets a little monotonous (could use a little more variation and air) but otherwise pretty good.
"When my - Smallest of dreams..." - Note the way she starts *smallest* . She doesn't have the control that Karen Carpenter had. At some points she comes close but Karen is out of her league.
Karen's pronunciation of, "My," as, "Muh," has bothered me for almost 50 years, but Rebecca has corrected that and also is a positive role model for vaccination. (Unless that mark on her arm is where her brother shot her Christmas morning with an, "official Red Ryder carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time.")
@@decay21450thanks for ruining Karen's version for me. It's one of my favorite Carpenter's songs, and now that's all I'm going to think about every time I listen to it. I never really liked the way she pronounced "guitar" in Superstar. But Karen is my favorite singer, she is the only singer who ever made me cry,so I'll cut her a little slack.
@@davidsheriff9274 It doesn't diminish Karen's talent or her fabulous voice. It's just one of those things I've noticed, like Skeeter Davis' pronunciation of, "End," as, "Ind," in, "End Of The World," and Little River Band's contraction of, "Beaten by the Queen of Hearts...," to, "Bea'en..." Regional and cultural dialects are interesting, colorful and can go unnoticed without repetition like popular music.
I wish singers of today will understand that having a great voice is not always about screaming
I'm listening to rock but I also listening songs like this, i wish you will understand the word "genre"
Absolutely right, dear friend!!!
Rebecca Robinson: lovely vocals. Mark Heller: playing the piano nicely.
👏👏👏
Both the voice and accompaniment do justice to the original score. Good job team.
Hard to find a good cover of this song.i love this one.
Oh my God! Her voice her ability to sing is soo angelic! So pure and clear❤️
Wow! I'm not sure what's more beautiful -- you or your voice! Thank you for posting. RIP Karen Carpenter....
Bravo!!!! Love your rendition.
Beautiful... Just simply beautiful....
Sublime.
You're truly beautiful, and your voice is excellent 👌
Day after day I must face a world of strangers
Where I don't belong, I'm not that strong
It's nice to know that there's someone I can turn to
Who will always care, you're always there
When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you
So many times when the city seems to be
Without a friendly face, a lonely place
It's nice to know that you'll be there if I need you
And you'll always smile, it's all worthwhile
When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you
Touch me and I end up singing
Troubles seem to up and disappear
You touch me with the love you're bringing
I can't really lose when you're near
When you're near, my love
If all my friends have forgotten half their promises
They're not unkind, just hard to find
One look at you and I know that I could learn to live
Without the rest, I've found the best
When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you
When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you
Won't last a day without you, without you

とてもこの曲が好きで何度も聴いておりました。
丁寧で張りのある歌がいいですね、ピアノだけも素敵ですが、オーケストラをつけても負けない歌い方かと思います!
WOW!! Wonderful cover of this beautiful song!
God only made certain people to be great singers - she definitely is one of them.
Rebecca Robinson does justice to a beautiful Carpenter's song!

She is great! What is her name?
Paul Mauriat’s instrumental version was awesome

Mas Karen só tinha uma nessa vida!
i won't last a day without God
amazing. reminds me of karen's voice

She sings it good, not as good as Karen, but still good....
well who sings anything as good as karen ?
Maureen Mc Govern B side
Barbara and Diana Rosss are greta singers;just not their song. The oscar goes to Maureen
She sings pop songs like Asian music.
Beautiful, but can we please, please credit the musicians? Thank you.
Thank you... And done! :)
Imitando a voz da karen☺
Ganda parin nya

Mikko Francisco no its not her.
You're deaf.
All I could think of was that stage needs mopping really bad !!!
great singer but I'd like to hear a bit less vibrato...more like Karen's rendition. my opinion.

Imitação
Amazing voice but the vocal effect/signal sounds poor.
