Angel Tree Kids FAQs: 1. Yes, this process is completely anonymous. The kids/parents/guardians will never know who I was, and vice versa, as it should be. 2. No, I don't have any way to "prove" that the parents/guardians will actually give the presents to the kids. 3. Yes, there is a possibility that they'll sell the presents and keep the money for themselves...However, I can say that the facility that manages this particular Angel Tree knows the parents/guardians and children personally. They are all vetted and known to at least one employee there. These aren't just people who walked in off the street and filled out a form. 3a. (I prefer not to automatically assume the worst in any given situation, especially if it's a situation where I'll never know one way or the other how it played out.) 4. Yes, I spend significantly more per child than that required $75-100. I do what I want. 5. Yes, I suppose I could spend less per child and adopt more children off the tree. I could also just give every kid a Hershey bar and adopt them all. Maybe take some of that speculative energy and put it into helping someone in your own community instead of wasting it here. Great gifts for the teen boy. I know for my son I like when he opens his "big gift" or "most wanted gift" first or almost first that way he isn't disappointed in everything that he opens that ISNT the thing he wants most, I find he is still very happy with everything else and enjoys the process of gift opening more once he is put out of his misery 😂 of waiting to see if he got the big thing, but that's just us, my son has ADHD so this is what makes his Xmas most merry.
