They’ve been playing the theme song from Seasons 1-2 during the NHL playoffs, whenever there’s a stoppage to fix the ice/player equipment/etc... It’s been awesome hearing the nostalgia!
According to IMDB, she's still somewhat regularly getting bit roles today. Interestingly, she's also guest-starred on Tim Allen's current sitcom Last Man Standing (as Helen Potts)!

I'd forgotten that this show ran for almost the entirety of the '90s. My brain tends to associate it with a single homogeneous period in my life, yet nothing could be further from the truth - I watched it with my family from 6th grade until I was a freshman in college! So much changed during that time span. It was kinda nice to have that constant that we could all sit down and enjoy for so many years.
I lived in a few houses as a kid but I have the strongest/fondest memories of the house I lived in from ages 8-18 and this theme song immediately takes me back to that house (I was born in 1985)

This is a classic. I remember watching Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego with my little brothers then we would watch this when our parents got home from work.

Seasons 2 to 6 had the best theme with a slight lean towards 2 & 3. Season one was the warm up, 2 and 3 was the full version, 4 to 6 were the radio edit and seasons 7 and 8 altered it fractionally downward in quality.
I remember watching home improvement I am a kid and 11 years old and I remember watching the Halloween episode when brad was dress as a doll I was like 3 years old.
For this show intro 1 is my favorite of them all the guitar is epic and i love how it gradually gets heavier and heavier as time goes one :P I feel like im one of the few who notices that the guitar and the guitar solos get heaviers as each season goes on.
This show has quite a few things in common with Roseanne: 1. They both aired on ABC in America. 2. They're both about a family. 3. They both star stand up comedians. 4. The third ever episode of both involves the married couple going on a date. 5. They both had the same creator Matt Williams, who created Roseanne by himself and co created this show.

Assuming that your peak childhood is from about age 5-10, you were probably old enough to remember the episodes aired between 1994-1999. I thought the show was going to go downhill after Jonathan Taylor left the show (since that seems to be the case when a main cast member leaves), but I enjoyed the last season quite a bit. 'Home Improvement' is a classic, it's easily in my top five favorite shows of all time!
The finale is probably one of my favorite finales. Tim has his hands tied with the dumbass producer. Jill has the amazing job offer. It reminds me of whenever my parents seize opportunities to change our lives. 🙂
Season 2 & 3 are my favourite, they are the ones I remember the most in my childhood. I hate season 7 & 8 because they took the newer footage and combined it with the old instead of making new footage.
