Watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲. I was mocked while growing up by relatives, and outsiders as the darkness one in my family, I hit the books hard 📚 and study. I used those unkind words as my stepping stone. Trying to walk for God as a young women in college, wasn't easy as well, but I prayed and studied HARD. I came out first, graduated and my mockers were scattered to my excellence. But I couldn't have done this without the Lord Jesus Christ. To God be all the glory.

I am Awero. I go through a lot because of my body.🥺💔. I have taken weight gain pills still nothing has changed. I stay away from people, I don't go out, I don't hang out with friends I don't even go to dates. I prefer to stay alone. Sometimes I hear people say I have a pretty face but too skinny. It breaks my heart most when it comes from a boy. I don't even have a boyfriend. Even those who show interest in me, I feel like they just feel pity for me. I'm not really an introvert but because of my body I feel insecured so I became one. My heart bleeds because of this funny thing is, I don't even like modeling. I just want to live a normal life like any normal girl 🥺
Please don't go into a shell for anyone. You have a beautiful figure, trust me. Own it with confidence because nobody can do it like you. Nobody can rock that lovely figure like you Queen!

God wanted me to hear this story. I’m 31 African American who has struggled with my slim body. I’m not build like most of my beautiful African and African American sisters. Most black men think I’m “cute because being slim makes you look young” but I’m not the it woman to date and be proud of. I obsessed over gaining weight I had a mental breakdown down. I even had high hope of my metabolism slowing down in my 30’s…because every one said my body will come in … it didn’t I could pass as 22 if I wanted to. And a default runway look model…again not the look I wanted. I craved curves. My whole entire family is stacked except for me. I actually ate more and my family ate less and they gained weight. My mother said I took after my great great grand mother. I argued with god. Until I met this lady who does research with genetics. She look at my wrist and told me without me asking. You are built the way you are suppose to. It finally hit me. This is how god made me. I’m not unhealthy, I am beautiful and the one for me will see my beauty. I am now making up for lost time with loving myself. Like all of me. I apologized to god and I’m so happy I watched this because I wasn’t looking for it. I was actually watching online church and this popped up after it finished. I know people struggle with weight loss but many struggle with weight gain. But again regardless of how some people may make me feel I will learn to love myself through it. Beautiful story ❤️
