    Nice review. I was waiting for this one!
    I bought the Ex1 Evo2 limbs and I can say they feel great. These are a big step up from the low end limbs I have been using that just felt... limp.
    Thanks for the review!

    Can you make a video about back tension and pulling through the clicker?

    Great review and really like how you delve into both the pros and cons of products.
    I live in Scotland so don’t have access to a shop that stocks ukkha products, but I am really interested in getting both an xpro 2 riser and sx + limbs.
    My ata draw length is 29.75 so am thinking a 70# bow length would suit, but anyone reading this please feel free to chip in with advice and comments. I do prefer a 25# riser size.
    Thanks again for the time and effort put into all your content, it’s much appreciated.
    Take it easy
    Scott

    Nice review!! We need more of these! Do you prefer the Uukha over your MK X10 / MK Z? And how do the XX limbs stack up against the MK Zest?

      The xx will be more agressive, but the vx+ are very smooth, feel great

    It would have been nice to see you shoot the bow and give your review as you do. Nice video anyway!

    Uukha makes fantastic products with my vx1000 xcurves and the sensation of "let-off" at the end of the draw more than justifying the price. Can you please compare the speed difference between fingers vs the shooting machine.

    they do offer different grips for their bows. you may check their catalogue for this.

    How would those limbs perform on another riser? Mostly asking due to me not wanting to upgrade my riser.

    • @junarboleda2685
      @junarboleda2685 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is an ILF compatible, you can buy an adaptor for hoyt risers

    • @eingames9931
      @eingames9931 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@junarboleda2685 I know that it is ILF. I guess I should have been clearer and asked if the extra fps and smooth draw would translate well to other risers well enough to recommend them on other risers.

      EIN Games I am using a Win&Win AXT and it is smooth. I am a newbie archer but according to the other archers, these limbs will be their next upgrade

    Are those Medium limbs on a 25" riser?

    • @shoreshotarchery
      @shoreshotarchery  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are Long #40 on a 25" riser

      We’re the limb bolts turned all the way in to achieve the 45 pound draw weight and was that at 28 inch draw?
      I’m looking at a set of 38 pound (long) xx hm limbs and I have the 25” xpro . I’m wondering what my draw weight at 27 1/2 “ will be at medium setting and at fully turned in limb bolts, Tom , in Florida

    I just ordered an x pro 25” like your showing. I have RC
    carbon extreme limbs (mediums @ 40 pounds)
    Could you tell me what type of string, length, and strand count that you would recommend?
    I just trying to have one on the way so I will have it when the fisher arrives
    Thanks, Tommy in Florida

    • @shoreshotarchery
      @shoreshotarchery  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your using 8125 you likely want 16 strands and the string to be about 1635 mm (64.37") long Good Luck and Happy Shooting its a very nice riser.

    What clicker would you recommend for that riser?

    • @shoreshotarchery
      @shoreshotarchery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the beiter clicker but if you want more carbon you could get the win and win carbon clicker

    Could you please weigh Ukhaa and MK Veracity limbs. I suspect limb speed is mostly related to weight of limbs, not necessary by limb width. I have W&W NS limbs which are very fast and light. I've also shot them through Chrony. Got up to 208fps but have very heavy X10 (410 grains on average) 34" length. Pitty that manufacturers would not give us limb weight but only poundage (in terms of strength).

    • @shoreshotarchery
      @shoreshotarchery  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would like to do that for you but I had to return the Ukhaa limbs

  • @ganryu123
    @ganryu123 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great review! You mentioned that you repeated your draw weight and arrow speed measurements multiple times, so I would personally very much like to see some standard deviations for your results as I have no idea by how much those parameters vary from shot to shot. Appreciate the effort!

    Bang goes the standard arrow spine charts again... 45# limbs producing 200+ fps. More trial and error to find the correct spines. 😭

    • @d0nb3x
      @d0nb3x 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, Uukha recommends sticking to the shaft manufacturer's charts, although they claim that you might even be able to get away with a _lighter_ spine. The reason is that the extra speed comes from the fact that the draw force curve is flatter with these limbs; in other words, upon release the arrow gets pushed with force close to your draw weight for longer. Heres's a nice paper that explains limb design, if you're technically minded: robinhood.waw.pl/files/papers/Fundamentals-of-the-Design-of-Olympic-Recurve-Bows.pdf
