This short skate took my heels right back to how they were right after I hurt them. So still no skating for me 😥 I'm really liking the Aeons so far tho! Happy Holiday's Everyone! 🎄🎁
That’s messed up dude! I’m so sorry your still hurt! It sucks not being able to skate, I get so short tempered & anxious if I can’t skate at least 3 times a week. Have you tried memory foam footpads in your skate? The really thick ones on Wish, they are like $3 & if you have room for those, then it could really help absorb the impact. Hope you can be back soon! Hang in there bro! 😎
I just ordered this skates. I recently came back to skating after more than 20 years without skating. I am having some fun re learning stuff again. I'm 45 now.
Welcome back ! I’m also back on skates after a long long break ( marriage and kids ). I’m 41 now and never felt so good to be on wheels again. One of my setups is an Aeon 72 , but with 68mm wheels. Absolutely love them. Keep rolling !
@@Huntingdownfakos I 'm, 45 I started skating again like 2 month ago with some urban skates. My last pair of aggressive skates was the Roces Imaplas. Great skates for the time.
As someone that is getting over the 30 mark now, have felt like I'm slowing down more, and having less fun skating, I'm absolutely loving my new Aeons. They've really brought back my love of blading, and are inspiring me to get fit again. They really are probably the best skates I've ridden.
It was good to see you on skates again. I hope your heel recovery wasn’t set back too far! I’m back to blading after an 8 year hiatus and your videos have been really fun and helpful for me, so thank you!
Came back to skating after nearly a decade off...got Aeon 60 XIX's. I freaking love them. Used to skate Salomons, Razors, and Remz and while I love all of them, especially Remz, the Aeons are just perfect for me. They did break in nicely for me. I used to get some rubbing on the insides of my ankles during long sessions...didn't hurt but was a little tender....doesn't happen anymore.
Good to see you skating again. You can pad around your bruised heel and leave a hole where your bruise is. That way there would be no pressure on that spot.
@@damianhannon1581 I think it depends on the liner really. I went from an EU43 M12 to a EU41-42 Aeon with second skin liners and its the best feeling skate I've used. But with a thicker liner I would have to get the EU43 Aeon. Hope this helps in some way.

Good to see you blading again! I just started rolling all 8 flat again and just recently got the kaltik frames with all 60mm wheels n I've bin wanting to get the aeons eventually
Ya dude I felt that the roll was a bit odd too. Not anti but not quite flat. These are definitely a round rail park skate for me with the size of the soul plate and wheel bite on square ledges.
I bought these skate last weekend, after having not skated since '97. I leaned to Royale on them on the second day. I am 40, and these skates teach old dogs new tricks.
Dude put your memory buckle on your aeons on them if you miss them. I've got them on my sways. Very easy to do minimal cutting and you only have to remove the two screws where your buckle is not the other end. There's a good video on TH-cam if you search Roces memory buckle mod 👍
YOOOOO, still rockin the supra high tops. I miss mine so much but glad to see ya back on the blades either way man. Hope the heels are back to normal soon

I bought the Aeon 80 first and loved them. I put 76/80/80/76 rocker and man what fun. Turn so fast. Well, I'm just new to aggressive and I thought I'd try the Lomax Hunter Green Aeon 60's and I instantly fell in love. The 80 were amazing and fast too, but the 60's are my new fav's. I also think the 2nd skin liner is nicer than the skinny boy on the 80.
The only Thing i have change was the shock absorber i have my old one from the roces graal inside IT is so mutch better and i drive with no insole the Boot is perfekt
It’s a shame you haven’t got the new design cuff, I’ve just bought the loco skates edition. Haven’t skated them yet so don’t know if it’s better. It seems people think you can’t skate them anti rocker like other skates , I do as I’m not good enough to have them flat and it’s fine. The 2nd skin liner is a great improvement over the basic too. I have been waiting for your review of these, so glad you like them I think they’re brilliant skates 👍🏻👍🏻
The whole point of the Aeon is skating flat without any of the drawbacks. The unibody frame (one piece boot/frame) allows for a unique frame design, placing the middle wheels far apart and allowing for that massive H block. Something you can't get on UFS skates. By taking the middle wheels out of the Aeon you get all the drawbacks of a UFS skate and none of the advantages of the Aeon. It's the worst of both worlds. That's why people think skating Aeon in antirocker is dumb, and I would agree with them. If you don't want to skate flat then don't get the Aeon, get something with a frame designed for anti rocker.
@@SparxyUK it’s not the worst of both worlds at all, I still have the extremely well designed and comfortable boot and the lower centre of gravity created by it not being UFS. If other aggressive skates are anti rocker anyway then what’s the difference? Why do you feel the need to insult someone for a perfectly reasonable comment? If you watch the efise winning competition video with Roman Abrate he’s skating them anti rocker too, so I guess one of the best pros is dumb too?

Look man you skate how you want, don't let me tell you what to do. It's just pretty obvious that the Aeon frame is designed to be flat, there are much better setups if you intend to go freestyle or antirocker. Roman Abrate is one of the best pros, in that video he did a backflip into a grind, I don't think what he does really applies to us. Unless you're doing tricks like that too??? Also you have no idea what he went through to get that trick. Sorry again if I insulted you
@@mr.rodriguez5099 yeah but no one buys Aeons with the intention of using them in antirocker. Sure you can do it in certain situations, like maybe you're having a hard time landing a super technical grind and you take the middle wheels out to make it easier to lock. But they are not designed for it, so they are not the best antirocker setup. If you want to ride flat and occasionally go antirocker, sure why not.
