I just love watching your videos. I really feel like I am getting an armchair view of New Zealand. And my future plans to visit are getting closer and closer.
Love your video! I am going to South Island in june, are driving conditions safe because of the winter? I am planning of renting a car but I am scared it will be dangerous
No the driving conditions are safe, like any road don't rush and be aware. But early for snow issues but the West coast is having some rain issues at the moment with road closures. So plan your journey and check for weather and road closures. Enjoy your holiday
I was in New Zealand in 1982! I know a long time ago! But I absolutely loved it! Saw both islands, but my favorite was definitely the south! And went to a lot of the places you recommend and absolutely agree with everything you said! Very beautiful! would love to go back in the not too distant future!
Rob I totally agree. However, this is only allowing 7 days... There is a lot more you could do with more time. You may be interested to know that most organised tours don't go to the village, they just view, if they can, Mt Cook from the lookout at Lake Pukaki. All time pressure. Thank you for your comment
Thanks for sharing the Itinerary. What is the better time , Autumn or Spring? Since due to Covid restrcitions, traveling to NZ during summer might not be feasible. I am looking for predictable weather and I don't want to miss whale watching, Scuba Diving, Water activities.
Haha, sorry to laugh but this is New Zealand, the land of 4 seasons in a day. On a more serious note, I love spring in NZ (where are you traveling from?). Summer is usually the most stable weather but our spring is more scenic. For water activities summer, Feb March, also never know borders might be open by then. Thank you for comments
@@ExploreNewZealand :) Thanks for your quick response. I will be traveling from India. I would love to visit in February, but looking at Covid situation in India, the chances are grim.

You can't go that close and not drive to Mt Cook village and walk to look at the glacier. Amazing views.
