Most of Indian mathematics is very fast in physics
When meters, kilometer, centimeters and calculators were not discovered. Then a great poet of our country gave the exact answer to the distance between the sun and the earth.
On calculating today. The answer given by him makes perfect answer.

These Questions are basically Normal Arthimetics & Not even Mathematics.
Even A Child of 6-7 years old in their 1st or 2nd Std. Used to easily solve these calculations without using any calculators here.
@Sushil Kumar I'm talking About Those multiplications & additions, and Square roots are basically multiplication only so it's solved by 1st-2std. Students easily.

We Indians ddo use calculators but only when it's needed like in a calculation of say Time period of pendulum 2π√(l/g), if you take all the constants accurately i.e. g=9.80665, π = 3.14159 it's almost impossible to calculate that in head but, we still try to do it on paper or using logarithmic tables rather than using calculator.

I am very sure that You will be amazed to see a shopkeeper calculating a long long list verbally and that too in a very very quick mode ...They do in their own language most of the time so you can understand only ooo AAA LLL nnnn😂😂but they are absolutely correct at the end ..

Besides those what have been discussed in the video, there are some other tricks of maths which can ease you to calculate. Here is a gift for Anjali. If you are asked, "what will be remainder if you divide 1234 by 9" ? Answer is simply 1. You just rach to single digit by adding the divisible number and that wiil be remainder. Here 1+2+3+4=10 again 1+0=1 and that is the answer. In the same way if the figure is 32562 the answer is 0. Here reach to single digit - 3+2+5+6+2=18, 1+8=9 when 9 comes as single digit the answer will be zero because if 9 is divided by 9 nothing remains divisible further.
If Indians are good at mathematics then I say it is basically the idea of making Ur own way to go through while doing mathematical questions. Because in the first question where the girl asked 87+87 ,to solve it many of us use the multiplication also to get to the same result 174(87+87/87*2).

My father stil prefer to do calcutions without calculator. He is more confident while doing calculations on a paper himself than using a calculator.
till 17th century europeans used to think that vasco da gama was having the biggest ship in the world but indians used to have ships which is more than 3 times bigger that his ship .Europeans biggest ship which was able to carry 600 tons only but in india "GOGHA" ship used to carry 1500 tons.The ships made by europeans used to take for maintenance every 12 years but the ships made by indians used to go for every 50 years and the ship(made by indians) which is being used by EAST INDIAN COMPANY(BRITONS) called 'DHARIA DOULATH" operated 87 years without maintenance.In 1814 British government passed a resolution that only the ships made by britishers has to enter britons . Intensively they killed indian shipping industry thousands of workers lost their jobs.

Hi Dear JAN family It was a good clip Let me tell you I am almost 70 but could never calculate like my father who did decimals and quarters and halves and multiplier and divider effect, I am still amazed by people of my fathers' generation who may not be alive today but they were so accurate at mental math with crazy decimals and quarter halves three quarters calculation
