Dewey Riley's death is absolutely and positivity one of the most heartbreaking and saddest scenes 😞😢😭 in the whole entire Scream franchise due to Dewey being such a loyal individual that genuinely and sincerely loved and cared for his friends and family. As of today I still can't watch it as it makes me emotional and teary-eyed.😞😢😭

I'm 31 an I first saw Scream in the early 2000s, my mom didn't wante watching it because it was rated R but she came around. David Arquette's Dewey has been apart of my childhood and I'll definitely miss his presence in the franchise. I knew one of the OGs we're going to die and I guessed him and OMG I cried. Growing up I watched Party of Five and Friends so Courtney and Neve are nostalgic along with Neve Campbell's co star Scott Wolf from Party of Five (he was my first crush). I miss my childhood .

I have a lot of fictional characters who I love deeply but Dewey has been very special to me since I watched the first movie almost two years ago now (I would have watched it sooner but it was made many years before I was born). This video was an amazing tribute to his relationship with Gale and both of their characters' development over the course of the movies. So as someone who adores Dewey probably far more than anyone should ever adore anyone, you really did him justice. :,)
it brooks my heart that after 25 years of everything that they built on this franchise, someone new just buy the rights of it and ruin everything saying that it's in honor to the original creator craven was so fascinated by the actors chemistry that saw it was gonna be good for the story and built their relationship on screen along the years, so sad to know they would be both alive AND together if the original creator was alive still i feel like a big part of me died now that one of my favorite franchises is over for me

@@greenscreenmovieguy5582 wes learned from killing randy (and nancy in nightmare on elm street) the importance of these characters - him and kevin had a planned trilogy (scream 4, 5 and 6) dewey had no plans to die until scream 6, the last one. maybe in the last one he would die, but who knows? also killing randy was kevin williamson idea, he also wanted to kill gale and dewey in the second movie, wes didn't let and built the main trio til the fourth one. now that he's not here anymore, so does not the trio

When i saw dewey laying on the floor agter the fight the look in his eyes killed me. I cried. Seeing amber plead for mercy and gale saying F*ck you made me happy and breakdown. I loved their relationship so much. Dewey was the bravest person. I felt pain when he died. But not pain like gales
He was a good character and important the; you killed my best friend! And; when ghostface said its an honor that's the last word Dewey heard before he died 😢 the word it's an honor. .. that just made me think of him protecting gale in scream and in scream 3 he saved gale from ghostface he shot ghostface and saved gale and scream 2 he was able to save gale while getting stabbed in the back like 6 times! And. Scream 5 he died and didn't get to see
