The SHORTCUT POTATO SOUP is not only delicious but can be made in about 20 minutes due to the fact that you can use mashed potatoes and fully cooked bacon. The fixings I garnish it with put it over the top.
Absolutely delicious!
SHORTCUT POTATO SOUP
Ingredients:
1 (2.1 oz.) fully cooked bacon
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 cups whole milk
1 (24 oz.) pkg. refrigerated mashed potatoes or 3 cups of left over mashed potatoes.
1 tsp. dehydrated minced onions
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese - divided
1/2 cup light sour cream for garnish
1/2 cup sliced green onions to garnish (scallions)
Follow the easy directions in the video.
Load up your bowl with all the delicious fixings.

My mom made homemade potato soup for us a lot. We added the cheese to our bowl right before we ate it. She always baked a big iron skillet of homemade cornbread to go with it…mmmmmm🥰 Are there actually people who don’t like Red Velvet cake😵…🤣 I like it for my birthday as well😁 I’ll have to give this shortcut potato soup a try. Hi sis I just made potato soup last week and searched the internet for an easy recipe but couldn’t find one so I sort of made up a crock pot one but it took me all day to cook ! This would be so easy since Denny could eat potato soup a lot more Often lol I think you could add frozen hash browns or those frozen potatoes to the pot if you wanted the crunch of a potato!
